Gorreana Organic Black Tea Broken Leaf 100gr - 1 unit

I very rarely write a review but this tea is the best black tea I have ever had. It makes me want to move to Sao Miguel in the Azores and live next door to the tea plantation. Once you drink this tea lipton sucks, (sorry) but it does. This is never bitter, you can brew it all day long and it is not bitter. I LOVE THIS TEA!!!

The flavor is a little bit like the Chinese Keemun variety, but with a subtle British twist. I will keep this one in the rotation of tea orders!

I've tried a lot of different black teas --from the British domestic brands, to single-estate Darjeelings, to Dian Hongs from China, to even some from Japan. I would say this is a decent tea, but not a knockout. It has a well-rounded black tea flavor and would be good for those who wish to ween themselves off putting sugar in their tea, for it is fairly low in bitterness. My first cup I didn't like, but I wasn't using enough leaf. (It could be too that the leaves needed to breath a little after opening the package.) I would suggest at least a tablespoon of leaves per 8-ounce cup. There are lots of twigs, but that never bothered me.

The tea received is high quality, recently packaged and over 15 months best by per clear markings on the package.

Love this tea! I usually have to have sugar & milk with my black tea, but this tea is so flavorful I enjoy it black. So good!
