With so many VANMASS car phone holders to choose from on Amazon, with many of them similar in description, looks and specification, selecting which one to order was more confusing than I first imagined. In the end I took a chance and chose this particular one because it is described as having an upgraded (latest) specification which includes a rotating lock to increase the pad suction.Out of the box it includes the phone holder, an adjustable bracket incorporating the suction cup and a vent mounting clip (each piece made from a rigid plastic material). All of which look and feel robust and proved more than capable of doing the job. The phone holder has adjustable padded side clips to accommodate the phone width but the padded retaining clip at the bottom is fixed, which results in my Google Pixel 8 Pro sitting high in the cradle (see pics enclosed). Even so the phone is still firmly embraced by the cradle and showed no sign of coming adrift even on the worst of road surfaces. The fixing bracket includes adjustments for distance and viewing angle (up and down but not sideways). The 3-inch integrated suction cup is coated in a sticky substance which when fixed to the windscreen and secured with the rotating lock holds everything in place very securely. So much so that it is a bit of a challenge releasing it.The main reason for purchasing the phone holder was to accompany me on an overseas trip when using my phone as a Sat Nav, during which time I would be renting a number of hire cars. I am pleased to say that it did the job superbly no matter which vehicle windscreen it was attached to or whatever road surface I was negotiating it stayed in place throughout with imperceptible movement and vibration.My evaluation of the product only relates to the windscreen fixing. I have not tested it when applied to the dashboard and neither have I tried the vent clip but based on this experience I have no reservations at all about this phone holder's ability to do the job whatever the application.

Fitted well and securely onto windscreen, feels very sturdy. iPhone 15 with case fits into holder easily. Easy release button. Nice to have option of vent attachment (accessory was supplied)

I bought this because the rotating suction mechanism looked more robust than the lever mechanism of all the previous holders I have used, all of which eventually fell off the windscreen! The only real test of this new one will be how long it survives.The construction looks fairly robust and the phone release button is easily located.The instructions were very clear; better than the usual Google Chinese/English translate. The after sales arrangements look ok, although when filling in the warranty details on the internet there was no "submit" button at the end of the screen, so until I had an email from them I wasn't certain my details had gone through.The packaging was professional and contained everything you need, including cleaning wipes for the windscreen.A ventilator mounting was also included. I have never got on with these. They put a lot of strain on the plastic vent to which they attach and unless the ventilation vents are VERY stiff, a heavy phone will flip from side to side as you drive. Maybe if you drive something better than a Volvo, it will work for you; for me it went straight in the bin.Overall, this mount seems very good. Perhaps I should do another review in a year's time if it's still in place.

it's stuck well onto my little Aygo shelf, not moved so far, holds the phone brilliantly. Does what I wanted it for.

Excellent. I want sure whether to go for this one or their other model, which was a bit cheaper. I'm glad I went for this, it feels very strong and sturdy, even fully extended from the windscreen. I'll be buying another when the other brand one in my other car dies.

This fits readily to the windscreen and just as importantly came back off ( with a little gentle persuasion) when it was time for an mot.Although it is chiefly plastic, I like the level of adjustment that it has, allowing for both vertical and distance/extension adjustment. It holds my phone (with case) very securely and there is little vibration in use. A well-designed phone holder for those of us with pre-satnav cars.

Very sturdy phone holder. Bought this to replace an old vent phone holder and I really like that this one can be used either as a vent holder or suction on windscreen or dashboard.I've used it as a dashboard suction type which I'm able to stick directly onto the dashboard but if it's not suitable it came with a sticky plastic disc you can first stick onto the dashboard (as long as you don't mind it being permanent) and then use the suction on this flat plastic disc.The holder is easy to use with the arms securely holding the phone (have used it for Google Pixel 6 and iPhone XS Max) with a quick and easy release button. There's also a convenient gap at the bottom so you can easily plug in a charging cable.The holder unfortunately developed a fault after 10 months (button didn't always release the arms) but Vanmass customer service was AMAZING. They were quick to respond to my query (asked whether they had any advice on how to fix it) but straight-away offered to send me a replacement. I contacted them late Saturday night, they responded Sunday morning and I received a replacement Monday!

Under review as using ...Grill mount unless doesn't hold s24 ultra keeps dropping . No hook .Dash mount dropped off after first use .Trying on Windscreen ...It is hot day but ! Says weight and temperature.Had older version , moved a lot , needed new one .Disappointed 😞
