Q: I received my travel wand today. It is working. But I have a concern, it rattles. It sounds like something is rolling around inside. Does anyone else experienced this?

There is an automatic turn-off switch inside the wand. It is there so you don't try and look at the light which is very harmful. As long as the wand is pointed downward the light will work but when you tilt it too far the light will go off. The rattling is that safety switch.

Q: I have this but I forgot how long you have to hold it over the area for it to work efficiently?

I think you just slowly pass it over the thing you are trying to disinfect. You don't want to hold it over fabrics or synthetics too long because it might cause them to fade or break down over time, just like strong sunlight would.

Q: Can this be used for toe nail fungus

I don't know if it would help for nail fungus or not, but yes it can be used on people. I don't have this particular light, but my physician prescribed a UV-C light after my abdominal surgery to be passed over my incision 2-3x per day for 10 seconds.

Q: what is this products wavelength?

What I found said 258 to 262nm. Hope that helps.
