Terribly disappointed
As others have stated, pretty stiff upon unpacking, no big deal as i sorta expected that from what ive read in reviews. Fit was as expected, however upon trying them on FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME the top button on the fly came off with hardly any pressure whatsoever. U know, when u buy clothing like this u EXPECT it to be durable. And by durable I mean that i shouldn't have to worry about the damn thing coming apart right away, in any way. I can only imagine what could happen if i tested this properly in the field! I'll probably keep them just to avoid the hassle of return and waiting for another pair which likely will have the same issue. I'll have the button resewn professionally and hope for the best but first impressions u ask? Yeah, not good and for the money these are clearly a loser. For my money, nope, never again. My 2 cents, hope it helps.

Tell me again how I lived before ACU and ATACS-AU??
Originally bought my wife the ACU pants in ATACS-FG for deer hunting in southeast Louisiana. Absolutely fell in love with the style of pants and the ATACS-FG camo pattern. Absolutely perfect in color for our neck of the woods through nearly all of the season. Loved it so much, that I bought her the ACU coat to go with it. Our purpose is warm weather deer hunting, but we need something durable enough to withstand the briars and heavy use, and it needs to be abrasion resistant for our tasks. Then low and behold I see the ATACS-AU pattern which just happens to perfect for late season camo where we hunt. Everything becomes dead tan and brown late season, but we still have mild days sometimes where I don't need super heavy clothing, but always need brush and briar proof clothing. Now for hunting purposes, there are a few cons. The material is stiff, and it isn't very quiet. But in my experience the soft quiet material takes too much of a beating where we hunt with briars and snags that I feel the trade off is worth it. Plus it's not so bad that it spooks game and it softens a bit with multiple washings. So while it is stiff and a little noisy, I knew that going into the purchase. Only other con is that it is warm for warmer weather, but so is everything we wear during the hot early season. If it's lightweight and a bit cooler.....again....it doesn't hold up well. Mosquitoes wont be biting through this stuff like the long sleeve cotton t-shirts. Last thing to be aware of, is that Propper's website is often inaccurate..listing this as nyco and NIR compliant. It is not. It is 65/35 poly cotton ripstop and is not NIR compliant. Not a problem for me as I knew this going into the purchase that I was getting 65/35..........Everything else is an absolute PLUS!!! Material is very durable, design function is awesome with multiple pockets everywhere. Tons of velcro to attach patches, name tags, insignia's...although I wont be doing that for deer hunting. Good solid zipper with outstandingly built velcro storm flap and neck flap. But most of all, the color!! Wow is that color great for the terrain I'm hunting in! Material is stiff enough to shed thorns, and it's also ripstop so it wont fray when I wash the garment. (got tons of stuff thats shredded from washing after exposure to thorns and material frays apart.) While the ACU set in ATACS-FG is expensive, and getting harder to find, I love the set so much I got one for me to hunt with as well. For this review of the ATACS-AU pattern, it is a bit easier to still find for sale. To try and preserve the color, wash cold, gentle, minimal detergent, inside out, and hang dry. I do this with all my hunting clothing and BDU's and the colors stay vibrant longer. Aside form PROPPER's crappy info on the website, I love the Propper products and have bought many from them and have always been happy with the quality. Happy hunting and I hope this review helps you.

Size matters
I had to get this for an airsoft team and i got the xxl long size. I am a regular xl. First, I was told that tgis fit 53% or something like that as expected and it was an athletic cut. I am no athlete at all and I thought the athletic cut would be to tight, so i got the xxl. Boy I was wrong. Also there was no size chart so I didn't know what I was buying either. I got these and I knew I had to hem the legs, but I also had to move the button over, both feats were not that difficult, but time consuming with any wardrobe editing. Besides fitting loosely, the material is strong and won't give out. I would wash the pants before first use so they are less stiff. Also, these are not IR resistant for those who care. These pants also have a load of pockets up and down the leg. Either way, 4/5, fits loose, don't get long, sturdy, and button up fly.

Fits nice, but pretty baggy.
I'm a 5'7" 120lb female. I ordered the small regular, fits nicely. The pants are VERY baggy. Like I could be 5'7" 300 lb and the pants would still be baggy in the thighs. But I kinda like it. Very comfortable. (If you're a woman like me trying to find non fashion pants, order a size down from what you would usually get because of the men's sizing)

Good material, good stiching, good colors but horrible sizes
verry well made but that's all! the sizing is hilariously funny are these pants made for MC Hammer! They are SoooooooOoo Huge!! I'm 5'10" my first purchase I went exactly by the sizing chart and they wereally snug on the waste this time around I purchased the LS (large small) and there's no way in hell I don't look like a Detroit rap star! if you fell from a plane these things would balloon open and you would float down to earth

could not see any difference between Tru Spec and Propper ...
could not see any difference between Tru Spec and Propper. I suggest washing them inside out if you have a washing machine with an agitator because they at stiff at first and any pair of new pants or blue jeans that are dyed will show marks where the agitator would rub them for an excessive mount of time.

Same as standard issue!!
These pants are awesome, I'm active duty army and I'm a mechanic so my uniforms get trashed fast, the pants are dead matches. They feel better than the standard issue pants, durability wise. I had my sergeants look at them just to make sure they would be allowed and sure enough they said "yes, I'm gonna buy some too"! A full set of real ACUS costs short of 100 bucks a full set of these, maybe 80. If I can save money on uniforms I gladly will! I highly recommend to any other military personnel out there.

Quality pants!
Quality pants. They feel top notch!I'm 6ft tall, 32 inch waist. Purchased a Medium Short. I could have gone with a medium Regular but I will be wearing them mostly in the summer with the pant cuffs drawstrings done up with sneakers. I like the look. Not wearing them for "outdoors" activities, just casual wear.

Great hunting/ work pants
These are the best hunting pants you will ever buy. Very high quality. Durability with comfort. The only thing I have ever had to do is re-sew a couple buttons and on a very old and used pair I re-sewed a couple seams.

Great pants
These fit well and wear well...I keep buying them as they do eventually start to wear out with hard use but they are great.
