Killed my amp
Wired my subwoofer exactly as shown in the picture. This fried my amp due to dead shorting it. Didn't think before I did it. But followed instructions. Now I have no amp to try my new sub. Not very happy about it

Pray that ya boi can get a refundđ
The sub is trash, I had two k9 15s wired to a Rockville dB16 I had the gain set correctly and took it easy on the sub for the two weeks I had it and it still broke,I canât play some decaf music for more then 20 seconds without it stinking. I donât know how they rated this sub but it definitely is not 5000 watts, I donât trust the 1250 rms rating either. EXO made a review on these new V2 subs and I wished I seen it before I bought it.

Comparable to my Skar Audio EVL-15" Sub!?!
I've been on a Rockville Binge ever since I bought their dB45 4-channel amplifier a few months back and loved how it performed! I had recently built a new sub box for my car to drop in a Skar Audio EVL-15 2-ohm DVC sub and since that also recommends 1250 RMS to push, I ended up replacing my old Kenwood amp with a Rockville RDX-M4 1500 RMS x 1 ohm amplifier. With that being said, I've been playing the heck out of that sub/amp for a month now and I'm extremely happy with how it sounds.So... I needed a second 15" sub for my other car... and I figured, why not the Rockville K9 15" 2-ohm DVC? :)I've broke it in for the most part over the past week playing it in my garage sub box (not nearly as low of tuning as my car's box) and decided to swap out the Skar for the Rockville and play the same thumping music I'd been listening to to compare apples to apples. My box is 4.25 cu ft after speaker/port displacement and two 4" x 17" aeroports tuned to around 28hz.Very happy to say that it's nearly identical! I believe the Skar still does hit a bit lower/harder than the K9 still but compared to every other sub I've owned, these 2 are in a class of their own. They both punch pretty well for 15's but that low frequency rumble is amazing on both of these subs! Extremely satisfied with this sub - especially at this price! The resistance I get on my multimeter shows the Skar between 0.9 ohms and 1.1 ohms and the Rockville is between 1.1 ohm and 1.4 ohms so there's probably a little power difference between the 2 in what my amplifier is pushing to them but it's pretty close (hopefully this is useful to anyone reading). I can tell a difference when the Skar is in my smaller/higher tuned sub box for sure - it's still more powerful than this Rockville K9, but again, for the price it's pretty darn close!Anyways, I'm a fan of the Rockville products and will definitely be buying more of their stuff down the road! Also utilized their tech support and am happy to report they are very responsive and willing to help!

Don't waste your money
Purchased sub arived a few weeks later thought it was a good deal for the money but big mistake the first day hooking it up on the day it arrived did everything right demintions of box is good wired to 2 omes correctly and played a 2000 watt amp on it that only puts out 500 to maybe 700 watts and after about ten minutes of playing it the speaker started smoking when that happened I turned off system and took it out ...no where near what it says it could handle and my gain and bass boost was down to break in speaker so how after 10 min did I already almost blow it had to of been defeated from factory will be wanting to send back and get a refund or replacement !!!

W15K9D2 15" Is this better then an Alpine Type X ?????
I did a test on coils ( With a true RMS meter each one reads 2.1 Ohm each ) I had this hooked up to an behringer 6000 Watt 2 channel amp ( the amp is about 2600 watts each channel ) VERY HAPPY WITH SOUND COMING OUT OF THIS THING!!!!!! It is mounted in a enclosed 1.9 cubit ft box i did a test with a sound generator Hi Low frequency test and it did good in my opinion at about 25 HTZ it shook my living room pretty good ( WAY MORE THEN MY Alpine TYPE X ) this thing is LOUD and pounds very hard (SORRY ABOUT PICTURES I PUT THEM IN CORRECT BUT THEY WENT SIDE WAYS) i found that the bass is much tighter then my type X ( witch to me has a more true sound then my type X ) I HATE A MUDDY SOUNDING SPEAKER !! The high note hits good from about 70 HTZ and down to about 25 HTZ ( if you had a biger box like 3 cubit ft ) it would be louder on low end ) I chose a smaller box because of space I DON'T HAVE... I hoped this helps you with your decision. THIS SPEAKER IS WELL WELL WELL WORTH IT !!!!!!!!!
