Face Reading in Chinese Medicine

This is one of the best books about Chinese Medicine and physical observations. We have reviewed dozens of books on this subject, and this is the most detailed and well-organized. As a multi-generational practitioner, Bridges includes a vast array of examples and explains the findings in both TCM terms and common health implications. We recommend it as required reading for our Certified Holistic Health Practitioner students in our Eastern Practices course.

This book is truly amazing. To understand ourselves and, the past and future. If you want to amaze your friends and feel "psychic",this book gives you the science and facts to how to read anyone.

This book was worth every penny! The information is fascinating and has helped me see the correlations of specific features and markings on the face to certain traits in myself as well as other people. My favorite chapter is the chapter on health. Our face gives us clues to conditions before they really set into the body or show up on tests and keeping an eye out for these markings is a great way to catch conditions early. I became aware that dark circles under the eyes is related to the kidney and adrenal system. It is an early warning sign that these organs are stressed and more rest is needed. The book is filled with many things to look for on our face that show the beginning of imbalances such as blood pressure and blood sugar issues. There are even markings to show at what approximate age we will enter menopause. The book is organized well and easy to follow. There are many color photos to illustrate the markings/features described which makes it helpful to understand. Anyone who is interested in learning face reading, this book is a must and I would highly recommend it!

I love my Kindle reader, but some books are better in hard copy, and this is one of them. I view the book as a reference one that you may read from cover to cover, but more than likely you will want to look things up. It is difficult to do that in the Kindle format. Unfamiliar with Chinese medicine, I had a hard time maintaining reference points, I kept thinking through my Western understanding and found something's confusing, again, probably would do better being able to "thumb" back a few pages to reconnect.

If you are interested in being able to read or understand others this book is it. It came highly recommended and now I highly recommend.

I am an acupuncturist by trade, and was first introduced to the concept of Chinese face reading by the author herself. Lillian Bridges came to my school and taught a continuing education class that I was able to attend just before I graduated. The information she provided was wonderful, fun, and surprisingly accurate. I've had a couple of chances to meet with Lillian Bridges since then, and have enjoyed each opportunity. Meeting her inspired me to buy the first edition of her book and read it. I was pleased to discover that the same material she taught in continuing education she expounded upon and went over in greater detail within the pages of her book. Now that I'm in practice, I often am called on to offer Traditional Chinese facial rejuvenation techniques. One of the things I like to do when I'm working on facial rejuvenation is to do a quick face reading. My patients love it. I highly recommend this book.

An eye opening book that will change the way you observe people and your self. Very well published on good paper with attractive colors.

This looks like one of its kind just by reading the sample alone. I am however unable to get it downloaded after purchase. Are there special instructions for this ebook?

I was really astonished by this book. Loved it from the first page! Really very well written with lots of examples and relations among face markings and signs, and their emotional, mental, physical and health meaning. From face you can basically read indiviuals' complete life so far - how has it been, what happened to them, what kind of emotion they felt and how they dealt with it. You can also anticipate many health issues and problems long before they manifest on the physical plane. For business use it's also great as you can read the person and know what kind of personality she is and adjust your actions or communication to that.

If you are interested in face-reading, it is a must!
