Others mentioned it being wobbly, but I have not had that issue with it. It telescopes perfectly and is a great portable flagpole for our Cub Scout pack.

I was looking for a collapsing flag pole that would be easily transported to different locations. I was surprised of just how few of options there are out in the market place. This kit was reasonably priced and does the job, but I had to run it through my shop first.The Cons: The bottom of the base was not flat and it wobbled; the flag would cause it to tip over. I figured out most of the problem was the mold plug at the center. It stuck up about 1/8" and caused the base to rock. After taking it to the shop and grinding it flush, the base is closer to sitting flat, but still not perfect. It still has a slight wobble; if it is setting on a rug it seems to be a little more steady.The Pros: Would be the fact that no matter what room I may take the flag into, I can adjust it to the correct ceiling height. Another plus is that it fits into the trunk easily when transporting.If the base would have set flat and steady when I received it, I would have given it 5 stars.
