Fossil Q Founder Gen 2 Two-Tone Stainless Steel Touchscreen Smartwatch FTW2117

When i had decided to buy this watch, I’m kind of surprised to see very less reviews for this watch. This motivates me to write this review, so that new buyer will have better understanding.This watch is a superb design and look very elegant. Setting this up is straight forward and just need to install the android wear app on phone and pairing.I was so concerned about how the battery performance is? Happy to see that even with the gestures on and always screen on options the battery goes for whole day and it lasts to 20%. Definitely depends on how many watch apps you have, but having gmail and whatsapp messages mostly this was the result. I would suggest to turn off the always screen on option and then you will see the battery go even longer.Also, you can block the apps which you really don’t want to be notified.Played music and voice call quality also very good.I chose the Two-tone gunmetal stainless steel variation and had to shorten the strap. You can do this on any of the fossil stores with no additional charges.This watch comes with a thin screen protector which you can keep it on, if you want an additional protection on the watch screen. Touch screen works fine with this protector on.I’m happy to explored this and liked it so much. Hopefully this review would help you too.

This watch is pretty good, I have a tag heuer connected, and had to get this watch to not mess up the other one. I like this watch so far, works well with everything on my S7 and now S8. It runs smoothly, the battery does drain if you leave the "display on" but if you turn it off you'll literally have the watch working a full day and even to the next day if you try and pay conservative with it and put it on air plane mode. The watch is great and I did not have some of the problems that the other folks have had with this watch. I don't have an iPhone so not sure about that phone but with my S8, its working great, so far.

This was an okay watch and then BANG the Android 2.0 update was automatically installed. I thought cool but then the reality hit me. This watch and Android wear 2.0 suck together. You will loose the ability to answer a call from your watch. You will loose the ok google feature. I could not get the text messaging to work either. I am returning this watch because it went from a smartwatch to a paper weight in the blink of an eye. I went to YouTube before I did the return to try to see if someone there had an answer for my difficulties. They confirmed the lose of these features. The watch looks great but that is about all I can say positive about it.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. Upon arrival, the watch was packaged well and appeared as it does in the photo. These are some of the features my husband really likes about the watch: 1. You can customize the face of the watch and there are many options to choose from. 2. You can customize the band of the watch and it is easily replaceable. 3.) You can send texts and complete calls from the watch. 4.) You can control apps like Pandora and Youtube from the watch. 4.) It was easy to set up and learn how to use. 5.) It has a really sharp look to it. You can wear it casually or when dressed more professionally. 6.) It can track your steps and calories.One thing he dislikes is that depending on the face you choose, you might not get the full display as there is a part at the bottom of the screen that is blacked out. It is a light sensor, so not sure how that could be changed. You can see this better in images posted here or in google images. He is still learning all of the features of the watch. He has not had an opportunity to use the watch all day. Once he does, we will update the post if needed to include information about battery life.

I've been an apple fan for a long time. After struggling with the Apple watch for a year, I bought this watch and it works Flawlessly. I've had a little trouble with the charging cable, it didn't come with an actual charger, just the cable and when it's plugged in to my 12watt charger, it stops charging after a while. Other than that it's been fantastic.

This watch was a gift for my bf. The watch looks great, is fairly heavy, and quite durable. However, it is fairly difficult to text someone on as you need to jump through hoops to access the persons name. Also, when it was opened, the bottom quarter of the screen was blackened without any screen function. Initially my bf thought it was part of a plastic film on the screen so he did not remove the protector until over a month later when we found a tempered glass protector. Once he removed the film and realized the watch itself was broken it was too late to return it for exchange. Wish the full screen was functional esp seeing how much it cost, but he loves it.

The screen is unimpressive. Not sharp or bright, and the flat, dark section at the bottom is bothersome. The battery drains quickly, and the charging mechanism is very slow. It at least looks nice, but the usefulness just evaporates too quickly.

The Is watch is one of my first actual smart watch, not a fitness watch. Android 2.0 runs very smoothly and feels nice and clean. When I first got it, the band was too large, my immediate thought was to spend money but it liked the band, me being a rookie watch owner I was unaware of the availability to bring it to a Fossil or any watch outlet to get the links shortened. The only problems I have are some compatabilty ones, I have the Samsung Galaxy s8 Plus and the only thing that it struggled with was music apps like Spotify, it was unable to play music or pause. It has it's own Google Play store which value apps dedicated to the watch, overall, great appealing Smart Watch and I plan to keep using it for a long time.

Battery is not as mentioned. Otherwise watch is very good, functionality and looks are awesome. There is only 1 con : 1)Charger quality

-Me gustó la manilla, y que se ve clásico-No me gustó que solo tiene un botón para menú, no se le mueve la esfera como los Samsung-No tiene sensores de pulso y/o presión, ya que está pegado al cuerpo aunque no sea para hacer ejercicios que te mida los parámetros.el cristal queda expuesto, no queda por debajo del bisel y es mas propenso a recibir golpesEn General me gustó!! pero si tuviera oportunidad lo devolvería en ocasiones paso trabajo para ver la hora!!!

Battery life is pathetic...didnt run for a day even with very simple display and minimum use...not worth of money.....regret buying it as a gift for my husband...

Dejando de lado el tema que no estaba sellada la caja y se veía manipulado el reloj, ha cubierto mis expectativas, tomando en cuenta que llevo poro usándolo.
