worked great!!!
I was looking for a clamp to fix my patio umbrella. The tilt hinge broke from the wind. After I bought it I saw someone else did the same thing! It just came in today and it works great!!! Now I don't have to get a new umbrella 😊

Versitile and quality clamps. Well worth the investment!
Great clamps! Sure gives you better placement options and versatility on light stands and trusses with the drilled mounting holes. You can better fill in or evenly distribute fixtures. If you have smaller fixtures, these clamps allow you to space them closer together than the mounting holes in your truss or T-bars allow so you can fit more on, or if you have larger fixtures that you need to space further apart you can space them out as desired.Another great thing about these is that you can replace the bolt with a longer one, if needed for other purposes. This is great for me as I sometimes use a whole truss system and other times I just use the stands with T-bars and side arms. Putting in a longer bolt allows me to bolt 2 of these clamps to the tops of each T-bar so I can keep fixtures on the T-bars for use on stands or I can clamp the T-bars to the truss without having to unmount and remount each individual fixture. A real time saver!

Strong and easy to use
Perfect for mounting to portable trusses. It has inserts so it’s compatible with different diameters. Easy to use and very sturdy.

Great Affordable Clamp!!!!
Ordered 2 of these to hold some Swarm FX 5's on some speaker stands. The clamps will fit either 1.5in or 2in speaker poles, trusst, or T-Bars. There is a insert inside the clamp that you have to pop out in order to fit anything 2in. The clamps are well built and the knob to tighten the clamp together makes it easy to get it nice and snug. The wing nut side of the clamp where your fixture goes is fine, I just wish it came with a lock washer along with the regular washer that's supplied. You don't want that wing nut coming lose! Overall this is a good clamp. It won't scratch your equipment and is a good budget buy compared to the more hardcore aluminum clamps that cost 5x's as much. Depending on what you will be using this clamp for, I wouldn't use it to hang anything heavier then the recommended 28lbs. I use it for the Chauvet Swarm FX5's which weigh about 10lbs or ADJ Mega Par Profile Plus led par lights which weigh 3lbs. I'm sure I'll be adding more of these to my collection!

Strong enough to hold 25+lbs as advertised
Clamped this onto a tripod and it held 2 light fixtures whose combined weight was over 25lbs. The truss was actually 1.4in thick, which is normally too small, but I wrapped some velcro around the truss to make it slightly thicker. Even with the jerry-rigging, this clamp held the 2 fixtures up for weeks. Not sure how it would last in this position for longer, but I can confirm it's a great clamp for temporary setups on vertical trussing.

Used to hold a patio umbrella to a table
I use this clamp to hold a patio umbrella to my patio table. My table has tiny clearance at the bottom so I couldn't use a normal patio umbrella base. I clamp this clamp just below the table top so my umbrella doesn't blow away. It works excellently for this! The clamp was outside for about 6 months this year and still looks new. Super easy to put on and take off, seems very strong for my use.

GET A GRIP!
...No, really... This is a great hanging adaptor for dj / stage lighting in the light to medium weight fixture weight category. It has a great firm grip on the truss.I really wish I had a bunch of these for my last couple of gigs. I think they would've reduced setup / tear-down time by a considerable amount. You do need to reconfigure your fixture storage / packing methods to account for the permanent presence of the o-clamp on your fixtures, unless you just love spending hours fiddling about with wing-nuts and washers. :)I like how you can just grab a fixture slap it on the truss, slam the o-clamp shut, lock it down, and move on to the next fixture in short order, not forgetting the safety cable, of course. LOL ;)Another thing I love about the o-clamp is it won't scratch and ding your truss like conventional clamps DO.About the only recommendation I have, since these clamps use plastic inserts, is to spray a light coat of fabric adhesive on the inside of the plastic collar inserts or use rosin to give the o-clamp a tighter grip on the truss when hanging heavier lights that need to be held out horizontally from the truss, rather than below, or above the truss. You never know, just paranoid, I suppose. LOL. They do seem to grip fairly well though.I'm leaving these permanently attached to my fixtures, where feasible to do so.About the only knit-pick I have is that you can only use these on one of two sizes, 1.5, or 2 inch truss tubes, and only on round tubes, not square, but then most rigs are 1.5, or 2 inch anyway, so there you go. :)They are a bit costly up front, but the time they save you in set-up / tear-down will make up for it in terms of doing more in less time.
