Where has this appliance been all my life?
Went to their YouTube video. This thing is so versatile, easy to use. I was prepared for a long and painful learning curve. The booklet that came with it is full of useful information. I had already checked out the videos before it arrived so 10 minutes after it arrived I had 3 ribeye steaks going. Followed the directions and suggestions. Finished those steaks in a cast iron pan. Terrific!!!!I wanted to try sous vide because I never learned to cook seafood without “killing” it. As much as it costs I can’t afford to make it inedible- my specialty 😬. I’m now cooking very nice seafood.I found out I can put ripe avocados into the water bath at 104* for at least an hour and they take a lot longer to turn brown. I can buy them in quantity when they’re on sale and get them in the freezer so they come out pretty later. This appliance can do an amazing variety of things. It cost less than half any other sous vide machine which is what I wanted. The fact that it works better and holds more than the more expensive ones is great. That it can be used for other cooking techniques is a huge plus. So wish I’d known about this earlier. It seems to be well made, temps have been stable, so easy to use. I’ll be watching this brand as I look to upgrade or replace cookware.

Cook multi-cooker, controls design could be improved.
Works well. Sous Vide function is great. It's nice to be able to use it to do higher temperature cooking as well. It's also easy to clean. My only complaint (which is why it's not 5 stars) is that the controls are a little unforgiving, so I've reset the setting of the cooker by mistake sometimes. It doesn't tell you when it's warming up. You have to know it's warming up and it will beep once it is warm for sous vide so you can add the meat then. Once added, you press the start button to start the timer. If you press the start button before it finishes warming up, it will reset the settings. Since it can take some time to warm up (it's a lot of water to heat),it's easy to wander away and miss the beep. At that point you're guessing as to whether it's warm enough -so that you either press start to start the timer or have to set the cooking mode, temperature, and time again. Poor UI design.

Tons of features - love it!
Okay, this multi cooker is insane - in a good way! They weren't kidding about 11 in 1. The manual comes with super clear instructions about how to use each part of this and all the settings needed for whatever you want to do - bake, saute, slow cook, roast, etc. It's easy to use and easy to clean. My favorite feature is the roast. This thing can hold a nice sized roast and cook it up on the counter so that your oven isn't off limits for hours and hours. The longest time you can leave the unit on is for 12 hours which should be enough time to cook up almost anything at all.

Poor performance
I'm not happy with this purchase at all, not user friendly, my dishes were ruined a couple of times, it's not like a cooker that you can leave by itself and it will deliver you a result in a timely manner. No, you need to keep an eye on it, otherwise it can ruin your kitchen with too much steam, with burning smell, etc.

Poor Quality
I've used this product a total of 6 times. It seems to be poorly made. Around the inside heating element all non stick or paint has come off and I never even touch this area. The inside pot/pan has at least two chips of non-stick covering off the bottom; I have used only silicon-coated utensils on this product! There are also two to three chips off the coating along the top edge, but it is possible I am responsible for scrapping this area, though I don't think I have. Otherwise this product has been excellent to use, especially doing the sous vide selection. Also appreciate the roasting, baking, sauteing and manual selections. I wish the timer part allowed less than 5 minute interval selections (manual mode).

I Love my Gourmia
I had a rocky start with the Gourmia.. but got issues worked out. I Love my Gourmia...I use it at least 3 times a week...My favorites are potatoes and chili and beef stew. After having the Gourmia for several months...the Only issue I have is with the insert pan...The coating has many dings....I have never used metal on this... Previous reviews have mentioned this and I have to echo this complaint...I think it's a cheap coating...and hopefully can get a replacement

I love how this cooker is so versatile
I love how this cooker is so versatile! I'm a new cook, and I don't like making anything complicated. It makes cooking so simple, whether I'm making rice or a meat stew. The instruction booklet and recipes it comes with is so helpful for someone like me. I'm very impressed with how meat has stayed so soft without getting overcooked. This cooker is perfect for making warm dishes during this cold season, especially when having meals with friends and family because of its large size. The amount of different foods I can make in it is incredible. There are so many features and different ways you can make food, I'm really excited to explore cooking with it!

Pretty good. One human interface issue.
This could be a five-star except for one detail:While the unit is getting up to the desired temperature there is no visual indication of how much further it has to go: the current temp is not shown, only the desired temp. The unit is supposed to beep three times when the desired temp is reached; but the beep is very soft And if you don't press 'start' after the desired temp is reached, the timer does not begin running. Now, the cooker maintains the temp whether or not the timer is running, so it's not a crippling problem. But it would be so much better if the temp kept flashing until the desired temp was reached.Other than that, I like the design. It's a convection sous-vide instead of a circulating sous-vide, so the temp won't be as precise; but it seems to stay within 5 degrees, and it's quiet. And the heating element covers a large area at the bottom, so there shouldn't be any real hot spots.
