iPhone 5S / SE (2016) Waterproof Case, Dust Proof Snow Proof Shock Proof Case with Touched Transparent Screen Protector, Heavy Duty Protective Carrying Cover Case for iPhone 5 5s SE - White

I bought this for my 14 year old son and he loves it. Like any typical child, he decided to see if it was waterproof. So he dropped it in the tub full of water and it is definitely waterproof. I wouldn't try that method but it's good to know that with that amount of water the case protected his phone. Hopes this information helps someone.

The case itself is nice and fits well, even after testing for water-proofness, I don't trust this case to be submersible, I do trust it to be rain resistant and accident resistant. The lanyard is nice when I don't want to lose my phone to the depths while on a fishing charter. Everything fits snugly on my iPhone 5 and I can't attest to the fingerprint reader because I don't have that option. Shock resistance is good, several drops from chest level with absolutely no damage to the phone itself. The biggest complaint I have is how easy it is to lose the waterproof aux converter and I can't for the life of me find a replacement part. Overall nice but I'd like an option to buy another aux extension since it's easy to lose.

This is probably the point of a waterproof case, but it is SO FREAKING HARD to take this thing off your phone! It is also super hard to pull the tab up for charging your phone and inserting your earphones. Plus, my skull candy earphones don't fit with the case on :(On the bright side, it has protected my phone from some unpleasant falls.

Delivered on time

Nice black and white, but the clear screen protector fits slightly large and isn't flush with the phone. My teen is OK with it, but I find it really hard to use - you have to press very firmly for any letters or numbers that are close to the edge. Would not buy again. Considering getting another case.

This is a good case if you plan on being in/ around water. I do not recommend for everyday use. I bought this case in white for daughter and it looks nice. The only issue is that the case covers the speaker so when your on the phone talking you cant hear the person on the other end. The facetime and speakerphone is loud and clear, if you like to use earbuds all the time its great. If not i do not recommend for everyday use. We will be getting a differnt case.

A few weeks in and the case is already coming apart. The mute/unmute lever no longer works, and worst of all the rubber latch for opening the power port has come off, making it near impossible to charge the phone now unless I remove the case.Who do I contact for a replacement/refund?

After testing extensively at a water park I’ve discovered the good and bad. First off, where the case separates, it has a small gap. This gap has allowed a small amount of water in. To add, the phone has not been submerged lower than 1 Meter. Aside from that flaw it is a great case. No issues with touch screen response, no issues with the camera. If they can fix that gap issue this would be a first rate case.
