I've been buying Illy Classico beans for years, and they never disappoint. If you're looking for a smooth, balanced, and reliably delicious coffee, this is it.Freshness: The first thing you'll notice is the signature "whoosh" sound when you open the pressurized can. That's the sound of freshness! The aroma that hits you is incredible—rich and fragrant without being overpowering. The can does an amazing job of preserving the beans.The Beans: As you can see from the pictures, the beans are a beautiful, uniform medium roast. They aren't overly oily, which is great for my grinder, and you can tell they are high-quality 100% Arabica beans.The Taste: This is the quintessential Italian coffee experience. It has a lovely smoothness with subtle notes of caramel and a hint of chocolate. There is absolutely no bitterness, just a clean, satisfying finish. I love Illy coffee especially this one. It’s not bitter and works well in my espresso machine. Price is decent too.

This is all a matter of taste, but this is the best and most consistent coffee I have found for my Jura E6.Like any coffee, the flavor is enhanced with a new water filter and double-filtered water, as well as regular cleaning and descaling. If you are on a budget and do not want to pay this much try those things first. Regardless, do those things.It is probably also the priciest, but what will we not pay for great coffee?I would prefer a larger can if it would save money. It is a half-step above the LaVazza Creme, which has the advantage in coming in 1kg bags for a little less.I have had some subscription issues, but that is the fault (I suppose) of tariffs and not the coffee.10/10 will continue to buy regardless of price.

For a decaf for use in my automatic Delonghi espresso machine, I would rate this pretty highly. It does produce some crema but not as much as Lavazzo Super Crema, which is my overall preferred coffee bean. However, the Illy is good for when I want to go to decaf for awhile. On the can dents ... yes, with shipping in a bag, as opposed to a box, the cans are going to be dented since they are made from very thin material. As long as the seal is broken, I don't mind this at all. Besides, the whole can is going to be dumped into the bean hopper on opening, so this is not an issue that should bother anybody.

My search for a decaf coffee that actually tastes like coffee is over, this is the one.The description of a medium roast was a bit concerning for a dark roast coffee fan but this did not disappoint. This is a full flavor coffee with a great aroma, and a full bodied taste.I was especially impressed that illy does not use harsh chemicals to decaffinate the beans and that they use 100% arabica beans.

Love the coffee. Had done some research and it was a healthy choice. However, it is shipped from Amazon and they just threw all 6 of them in a box together with other things. One had no lid most were all banged up and dented. Not exactly how you want to receive Your items when you spend so much money.
