Perfect fit for my LG monitor
Imagine my surprise when I bought a dual arm desktop monitor mount only to find that my LG monitor did not support VESA mounts. So glad I found Gladiator Joe. He came to the rescue. The adapter bracket fits perfect. It's made of thick, sturdy steel. It installed in 5 minutes. What more could you ask for?For reference my monitor is a LG27MP59G-P.

Can't use VGA
The vesa plate blocks the VGA input. It would be useable if the adapter was an inch taller. I have to get an adapter to covert VGA to HDMI.

Won't be buying from GJ again.
I've bought 2 versions of bracket that stated they fit the LG27MP59G-P. The first one was not compatible at all which I will be returning, the second was compatible. Neither came with any kind of instructions, just the metal plate and a literal zip-loc bag with screws. I ended up stripping out the holes on the back of the monitor because I tried using the supplied screws so now my monitor cannot be mounted at all, not even on the stand that it comes with. I assume you're supposed to use your screws from your factory stand to mount the bracket, but it's too late for that now. So yeah, not a great experience at all. Instructions aside, a single piece of paper with a single sentence that just said "Don't use supplied screws to attach adapter" would have saved a $200 monitor.

Absolutely does not fit the LG 24MP59HT
As noted by a previous reviewer, this bracket is incorrectly advertised for the LG 24MP59HT line of monitors. The bracket is far larger than the port used for the OEM stand. The attached picture shows a comparison between the stand connected to the monitor and the bracket next to it.I am giving 2 stars as the bracket does have a reliable build quality, but I am baffled how this is being advertised as compatible with these monitors.The hunt continues as I open a return request for this item.

Works great
I was upset when I went to mount my monitor and found out it was lacking holes for a VESA mount. This solved all my problems and has allowed me to mount my monitor on monitor arms. This adapter fit the monitor perfectly. Very sturdy, not worried about the monitor falling at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone with this model monitor. Speedy delivery.
