Pretty decent light if it would work properly. Every couple days the remote stops working. Changed the batteries, still didnt work. Unplug and plug back on and it turns on and remote starts working again. I was about to buy another one until this started happening.Update (7-6-2025) Props to the customer service. They sent me a new one and an apology. Just installed waiting to see how this one performs. In the meantime i will change from a one star to five star. I liked everything about this product other than the remote randomly not working.

Absolutely so engaging. I can’t wait until 4pm to close my blinds just to turn my stars on. The device has so many colors that look like galaxies. I love the sound of the crickets. Another sound is of various running water ie: seashore, running stream and rain. The remote is very convenient. I highly recommend

The media could not be loaded. This little gadget is super cool! I bought this as a gift for a friend but with the discount decided to try one for myself too. Why not, right?If you want to transform your space into something magical and calming, buy this thing. The hardest part was finding the right place to set it up for maximum coverage. I imagine the floor would be best but that wasn't an option for me because, dogs and my own clumsiness.Very much plug and play because I didn't read the directions. You will need a USB adapter to plug into an outlet, and 2 AAA batteries for the remote. Other than that, once you get it positioned right there is nothing left to do except groove and relax. I love the beams in my home but this device takes them to an entirely new mystical level!The sounds are ok, considering. I was not a fan of the whale noises (but I know lots of people love 'em) but they would work well with the blue setting - which gives the room an aquatic feel, like a swimming pool at night. The train sounds creeped 2/3 friends out. The rain and thunder sounds were pretty great, the river/babbling brook/ocean made me have to pee (if you know, you know ladies). The timer can be set for 1 or 2 hours.I posted pictures of the colors. I thought the red was sexy af, but 1/3 friends thought it looked evil. The white looks like clouds, on a moonlit night. You can mix the colors to certain extent and get a unicorn look. The blue and green are exceptionally soothing and give the room an aquarium look. Tbh I just sat on the couch and jammed all the buttons on the remote to see what would happen.Overall, I recommend this thing if you want to groove up your space. I paired mine with a glass of wine and some classical music but I can see how this would work well for parties and harder jams.Can't speak to the longevity because I just got it yesterday but will update if it craps out anytime soon. Buy this, you won't be disappointed!

Updated Review: Shortly after leaving the initial review, Rossetta customer service contacted me and proceeded to send me a replacement. This model seems different than the first, mainly in egg design (this one looks more sleek), and the first one I purchased had no Bluetooth capability whereas this one does (have not used that feature yet). I received the replacement incredibly fast—we’re talking about THE DAY AFTER I gave them my shipping address, so that was a very nice surprise! Although I can’t speak for the longevity of the replacement light, I’ve changed my review from 1 to 4 stars based on the customer service and the fact that I really do love the light. It adds such a nice touch to my space! Fingers crossed this one lasts!Initial Review: I bought this light back in Nov 2023. Four months later, it started turning itself off at random times. Sometimes, it’s on for 10 minutes, then shuts off. Sometimes, it’s on for half an hour, then turns off. Once in a blue moon, it stays on for a few hours; it’s completely random. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting I possibly could—the thing just has a mind of its own. The lights are very pretty in every setting, but that’s kind of irrelevant if the lamp won’t stay on when you want it to be on. Also, the On/Off button on the remote stopped working along the way, so it can only be turned on manually. Overall, pretty disappointing purchase.

I've had other galaxy projectors. Simpler ones. But this one is an upgraded and better quality one..sounds way better and it's way louder a bit bigger. Does everything I want one to. I just wish it actually has a way to make any color you desire project.

I had a light just like this light and used for a mood light in my living room to just stay on while I cook or watch movies. When it broke I got this one to replace it as it seemed to have identical lights and green laser for the stars.Three major big key differences and big issues:1. The entire light is on the same remote frequency as an Amazon fire stick which means every time I went to change the volume on my remote the light would change to something different. Really annoying.2. The old light would have a movement to it at all times, while this one moves in one direction, then stops completely and then reverses which was also oddly annoying to keep seeing it stop.3. Unlike my old light, here you can’t click on a color then add another color to it. You have to cycle thru the mix button instead to get to the right light combo you want. If you could just click on red and add green to it, it would be fine.Other than that, it’s a nice light, I don’t mind the weird dinosaur egg design.Fix those user experience issues and I’ll give you 5 stars.

Love the options and my daughter sleeps great with this projecting on the ceiling.
