Good fit looks good don't like the contrasting letering on boot but that's my only complaint

Very nice design, looks great but not made for working in a mechanic shop..

These shoes look and feel great! I love the fit. But these boots eat laces like crazy. The eyelets are really sharp edged. Also, the laces have worn a hole in the tongue at one point where the laces cross. Never had that happen before. I would not spend any more for these than what they cost, as they do not wear well and will nickel and dime you with laces.

I’m a Security Officer at a nuclear power plant. I work 12-13 hour shifts and have to walk across loose rocks, pavement, stairs, and cement every day while carrying between 10-15 pounds with me at all times. Additionally, I live in a very rainy area.These boots are not the most comfortable ones I’ve ever had, but they’re excellent for the price. I’ve had them now for about 4 weeks I think. It took about a week and a half to break them in, and my feet were extremely sore until they finally were worn in.When you first buy them, I would highly recommend getting some sandpaper and scraping up the bottom. You’ll slip on metal surfaces if you don’t, pretty easily until the rubber gets worn in.They are water resistant at least, and metal detector friendly. The hiking boot height is nice, especially since the bottom of the shoes looks like an actual combat boot. It helps to keep you cool.Not a huge fan of the hooking system used to tie them, because it’s hard to do in the dark at 0400 when I’m getting ready for work. But, that’s mostly just a personal preference I think.All-in-all: Good shoes for the price, definitely comfortable when you get them broken in. I don’t regret buying them.

Hey everyone!I've had these boots for a year now. I've used them every day at my full time job and Its time to weigh in.For me, these run true to size. I've had my feet measured by professionals at our local shop and I used that info with my order. I'm a 6'2" individual about 225 lbs wearing a size 10.5.A year ago or so.. Day one: I received them and upon inspection, I liked what I saw. In the hands, the quality is actually very nice. The materials seem ample and sturdy. I rolled the dice and made a full on commitment and I went to work with them for a 11 hour shift the next day . They were a bit tight and stiff (I expected this) and the factory insole had... almost enough cushion. My feet felt the abuse after a ten hour shift on concrete floors.Days 2, 3 and 4: After reading again some reviews here on amazon and taking the advice of owners before me. I removed the factory insole and replaced them with some of higher quality. I chose "Dr. Scholl's Heavy Duty Support" sku# 011017569855. I used the included insole as a guide to cut by. This worked perfectly. In the subsequent days after upgrading the insoles and "breaking them in" somewhat. I began to notice my feet actually weren't hurting after work.From that point on until present. Now a full year later. I have worn these boots nearly everyday to work, or on hikes, or in the yard doing work, and so on. They have continuously gotten better and felt more comfortable. These are my go to. My feet don't hurt anymore after work.It was only until just recently I had noticed some failures in the materials.The inner fabric liner has worn through around the heel.The inner sole now makes a bit of noise as I walk. I feel there is some rubber failure in the heel.The tread is still very much there, however they are becoming thin and are close to creating an opening in the bottom rubber which I am afraid will let water in.The outers still looks great! Nothing is damaged or deteriorating.These wear very consistently. For the money you just cant ask for more. The uppers are so good, I would resole these if they supported that.These boots have A LOT OF MILES on them.. I believe they have a lot more left in them.I just purchased my second pair and picked up some of the same insoles. I am retiring these from every day use and designating them as my camp/yardwork/hiking boots. Its time to break in a new pair.. I'm excited.Recommend? Yes!Comfy? Super yes! (replace insole for best results)Tough? Very yes!Bang for Buck? Darn good for the money.Would buy again? Absolutely. I bought them again.

Boots fit perfect, comfortable, waterproof. Laces aren’t the best, mine ripped after a few weeks but just got a new laces.
