We don't use the radio, but needed a portable cd stereo for exercise room. This was economical, was delivered quickly and operated easily out of the box.

the souond quality is great, but it will not run on batteries. tried 2 different sets of btteries - all expiring in 2023 - and neither one worked. Plug-in is AKO. SInce I'm using it in the shop, not a big issue ... but could have paid less for a machine that wasn't intended to be portable

I have owned several of these portable CD players as I enjoy audio books. I actually have the model prior to this one. They all have the same problem, the CD players stops playing. The turn table spins but no audio and you will get a message stating no CD in player. My last Sony, which the Sony send as a replacement for the one I purchased which stopped working after several weeks, only lasted a few months

Has all you need for old timers like us who enjoy their hands on music tapes and cds.
