I love a sturdy case and this is one. My second defender already, the charging port cover tore off the first one. After 2,5 years :) Delivery from Kentucky(was it?..) all the way to Lithuania was surprisingly fast.

UPDATE: Slight update to interface with free holster - see last 2 paragraphs Well designed, sturdy and almost waterproof case (need openings for microphone, the ring silence slide switch, etc) which would be good for any exposure other than immersion. Phone is held in place by a grooved sealing ring around the periphery of the screen. Installing that ring is easier using a thin, soft plastic blade to lever the ring into place (think of how a shoehorn works). I used the flat end of a citrus peeler https://www.amazon.com/Tupperware-Peeler-for-Oranges-Citrus/dp/B00JEIHFRA/. The case comes with a code for a free belt holster. The holster has three usability problems. A holster should allow you to remove and replace the phone quickly. However, the two corner cups that hold the phone are too tight - if you don't line up the phone exactly right, the phone doesn't seat in the holster and can't be clipped in. Similarly, the release catch is on the long side of the phone (opposite from the corner cups) is just molded plastic (not hinged) so it only lifts up a little to release the phone...so you have to use two hands (one thumb to push to plastic catch up/back, the other hand to pull the phone forward and pull it out of the tight corner cups). UPDATE: If you rotate the belt clip so the release catch is on the bottom it is a little easier to insert the phone in the holster and a lot easier to remove it. Of course, having the corner cups at the top and the catch at the bottom does increase the chance of you dropping the phone either inserting or removing it. Another issue I have with the holster interface is that the phone must be positioned screen-side in. While this orientation gives maximum protection, it also means you can't glance down to see the time or who just sent you a text. In fairness, my previous case/holster combo, which did allow you to have the phone screen in or out, was for an iPhone 8. This case has a raised protective lip around the camera lens "cluster" on the iPhone 13 mini. This lip would prevent the case from sitting flat in the holster if the phone were screen-side out. UPDATE: I discovered that you CAN position the phone screen-side out if you have the raised protective lip on the side where the holster release catch is. That is, positioned so the extra thickness is away from the corner cups which hold the phone against the back of the holster.

I have used the Otter Box Defender for every I phone I have had. The addition of the rubber cover for the phone really protects the phone well for any drops. The rubber is meant to allow the phone to clip in the belt holder, I don't use the holder I just purchase this case for that added protection.

bein' a hater. if u hate that, look away! been a loyal otterbox fan for almost a decade.... so when i say this is hands-down the worst case i've ever used from them, i mean it. and that sucks! i want to love them, but whatever they've done here ain't it. i don't change phones often (not an upgrade girlie), and tend to keep the same case over years. i bought this in october and this is in worse condition by now than the ones i've had for 10x the time. brother, these things are supposed to be made to last! i've beat up previous phone cases far more than this current one (the benefits of being a cool, dextrous, less clumsy grownup now), and never have i had more cracks in my case than now. general pressure seems to develop cracks, which is crazy because it's a phone! they're meant to be gripped in your hand! even pulling the case off threatens to break the shoddy plastic apart. i'm so disappointed, i can't believe i'm stooping to make a review. embarrassing for me, embarrassing for them. (a warranty doesn't feel worth it, i hate this case and don't want it again. i'm being dramatic! okay! i know! okay i'm done!)

Liegt gut in der Hand, nicht zu klobig. Effektiver und wertiger Rundumschutz. Zum Schutz eines mehrere Hundert Euro teuren Kommunikationsgeräts sind die 20-30€ für ein solches Case gut investiert.
