California baby is the best non toxic baby wash. It does not dry out hair, keeps skin smooth and fights eczema!

This is the shampoo the hospital gave us. We put it to the side since it looked cheap. Well we started using other brands and he broke out in rashes. We ended up using the one the hospital gave us and his rash cleared up so we ordered this.

the first time i feel like the buildup on my scalp actually cleansed off. other shampoos leave your hair feeling greasy and oily,, this one actually keep your scalp dry and clean!! You may need to add some jojoba oil to your hair after a shower because it strips out your hair a little bit. but afterwards i get so many compliments! the fact that they use this shampoo on new borns is a sign i can trust! thank you!

I have very sensitive skin and have tried a lot of shampoos in the past, and this one is the only one that hasn't caused me to break out of itch. It's very mild/gentle, but still cleanses well.

I've been using this for about 3 months now. It is a very gentle shampoo but it leaves your face and hair very clean by using a small amount. It lathers a little which is all that is needed. Just having a layer of it on your face or hair is enough for a good wash. I got this because I had read about it on Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep database. This had a very good ingredients list and rating there. They have gone into a lot of details to get this product right. Even the container is safe (you can see the descriptions on the front and back in the images provided here). It recommends leaving it on for 30 seconds before washing it off for it's full effect, which is a good idea.One of the reasons I got it was because I knew the regular shampoos and especially dandruff controlling shampoos had a negative effect on my scalp. With dandruff you need a mild shampoo to use 2-3 times a week. This did the trick and I've been mostly dandruff free if I use this 3 times a week. I use Kirkland Signature Extra Strength for Men Minoxidil Topical Solution, 12 Fluid Ounce so this may be the reason my hair gets dried out and dandruffy still.Again for an acne prone skin, like dandruff, you need a mild cleanser which you can use once a day. I use it on my face and eyelashes (which I had dandruff on) once a day using my hands and it's just right. Just don't expect too much lather, just applying it and rubbing a little is enough.This product can be found at Bed Bath and Beyond and Whole Foods Market, but this size is cheaper on Amazon with free shipping.

This is the only shampoo/body wash my toddler will use and I give it to friends all the time!

I only gave it 4 stars because I am still getting used to using it. I do believe this product works well but just not used to not having all the foam you get from traditional bath washes. Using plant derived products takes some getting used to but we are liking it so far. This one is good according to one of my daughters, she clearly said that one of the others stunk but she didn't even realize with this one. To me it didn't stink we just don't care for the smell of lavender, how ever mild the smell is. I could get used it. I purchased the tote bag first to try out the various products, then had to purchase more to really decide about it. I only got about 3 washes out of each bottle (from the tote bag size). My daughter suffers from allergies all across the board and it has helped her eczema in the short amount of time that we have used it. I purchased two bottles because I have two daughters and figured I would need some on hand, glad that I did. I have only had it a few days and have already used almost half of it. :( A little overpriced for as fast as you go through it I think. Not sure of all the other CB products but this one is good.UPDATE: TWO YEARS LATER WE ARE STILL USING THIS PRODUCT!!! WORKS GREAT!!! I DON'T USE ANYTHING ELSE ON THEM AND USE THIS ON THE NEWEST ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY. WE DON'T USE IT AS HAIR WASH, I FEEL IT LEAVES IT A LITTLE DRY BUT LUCKILY ALL THE SKIN PROBLEMS HAVE DISAPPEARED AND WE ARE NOT USING PRESCRIPTION CREAMS ANYMORE!! I BUY IT IN THE HALF GAL SIZE NOW SO I HAVE PLENTY ON HAND.
