Equal to my Oddessy Saber Tooth
I have an Odyssey White Hot Saber Tooth and bought this model out of curiosity. They are almost identical except the Cook putter is slightly lighter. It took a little getting used to but in the end they are the same except for the cost. The pain and finish are great and the grip is outstanding ( equal to a SS 2.0). With thirteen putters in my collection, it was easily worth $40 bucks. And it does make a 'Ping' sound when hit.

A poor chinese product
The grip is very nice, the shaft is also, the design is excellent and it works well at first but the quality and materials used are a disaster. The finish is so fragile that if it touches any other club with the cover off it knocks a piece of paint off. And the worst part is the material used on the face where the the ball contacts it. It is so fragile that if you putt off the collar of a green and there is any dirt or sand on the ball it will chip and marr the putters face. It looks wonderful but the quality is absolutely pathetic. This club was made and assembled in China and its extremely poor quality reminds me of the poor quality items we used to get from Japan years and years ago.Why this club was not powered coat painted to give it resistance to marring is beyond me. And why didn't they use a polymer material in the face so it was durable? Its made as cheap as possible and the profit must be substantial. I'm extremely disappointed with this club. Do not buy it.Unfortunately it casts a big black shadow on all Ray Cool products and I'm surprised they approved this putter quality

Cheap-but you get what you pay for
Putters are pretty expensive, so a $40 budget one is bound to be made pretty cheaply. There indeed is a cheap pinging sound. I've only had it for a few weeks so far, but it's alright so far. It functions as a putter, and it's better than my other crappy putter that I had. The power and control are kind of difficult to control, but it's usable.I've seen reviews for the putter just breaking apart. I find this hard to believe. You're literally banging like 5 ounce balls into a hole, so unless you're just smashing the putter onto concrete and trying to break it, the material seems sturdy enough. Cheap paint? It doesn't really affect your performance. The rod seems sturdy enough, pretty heavy, which is what you would like to see with a putter in the first place, so a desired outcome. It's cheap, not the easiest to use, but worth the money, and works well enough.

Extremely disappointed as the build quality is horrible
Extremely disappointed as the build quality is horrible, even for an inexpensive putter. Grip was not even close to installed straight but I have a blow gun and compressor so could straighten it without removing (I've done club repair for 35 years). Paint was missing all over the back of the putter head, like they didn't even try to paint it. Paint was missing or scuffed on the points. I had it out of the box for 5 minutes and decided it was going back because of terrible quality control, if there actually was any.

Center Shaft is a Sighting Aid
Putter seems well made. Some have criticized its paint....chips too easily . I have not found that. Putter makes a ping noise on impact. Some reviews have criticize that as being cheaply made. Others have said that is the sound that gave Ping clubs their name. Any way you choose to see this club, it works for me as a sighting aid with the shaft centered. Not many options out there with a center shaft any more. I like this putter.

Don’t waste your time or money!
This putter gets only one star but zero is more fitting. I was looking for a center shafted sabertooth/Tyne model and rolled the dice on this inexpensive option. Bad move...1st of all I roll several putters, Cameron Newport II, 8802, RIFE Abaco and wanted to look down at something with less toe hang. This thing is made of the cheapest metal and makes a horrible embarrassing ping sound at impact. I literally opened the box and rolled 5 pro-v’s on my carpet and the paint on the face was flaking off. Put it back in the box and returned it. Absolute rubbish.

Get the right putter!
The putter showed in the picture was not the same one I was shipped If look at the one in the picture that one has a red out line on the back and bottom of the putter The putter I received did not have the red line around the bottom of it this was last year Model I would like the same one in the picture I really want it if possible. I have four of these putters currently. In the other colors red green and two of black and red and white same last year putter. I ordered the second black one hoping to get the new one in the picture if I could get the one in the picture I would like to get it. Thanks again If anything can be done I would like to hear from you thanks Mr Ward

Quality at a economy price
I have used this putter for 4 rounds. I like it very much. Do much that I bought a second putter for my home in Indiana, so I can leave this one in Florida. My current putter in Indiana is a “spider” which costs $275.00. I like this one as well! Great value for the buck!

A comfortable putter.
This putter comes with an oversized grip which is very comfortable to hold. It is well balanced. The head feels somewhat weighty which allows less of a backstroke prior to striking the ball. I prefer the center shaft which seems to negate the slight toe movement that sometimes happens when using my heel shafted putter which, of course starts the putt off line. I love this putter.

Klebriger Griff

Well priced for a novice putter
Played it for a year. Would make a novice golfer happy but for a seasoned golfer it’s a little dense and springs the ball off the head. That beautiful paint job will chip off in your bag nearly immediately. Good for the price
