Our Hummingbirds love this nectar! We get several birds a day at our 2 feeders. I just bought another bag to keep them happy.

I’ve had this in my feeder for a few months. I’ve seen a couple hummingbirds come to the feeder, act like they may take a taste and then leave. I’m not sure if it’s the food or what it is, but they don’t stay and they don’t come back.

As temperatures get well below freezing like with any nectar you will certainly want to take the feeders in at night or it will freeze. I was very skeptical about buying this after I saw so many reviews saying the birds wouldn’t touch it. After putting it out though I’ve noticed that they don’t like as much as the cheap, straight sugar stuff, but they will eat it. If you’ve had the sugary stuff out and switched to this it’s like taking away cookies and ice cream and giving them salad instead. They’re obviously not thrilled about it at first but they will eat it just fine once they realize that’sThe only option. I have probably a dozen hummingbirds that nest nearby and after 2 days everyone of them started eating it the same amount as the previous stuff. It is absolutely worth it so you can give your hummingbirds safe, high quality food.
