Excellent wart remover.
I tried other brands, but this is by far the best, and the cost really can't be beat. The consistency of the liquid is perfect. Not to runny so it stays put while it dries, but it is not as goopy as a gel so it spreads out just the right amount to cover the treated area nicely. It has a nice acid burn to let you know its working. Some may not like that, but I do as it is clearly working. Other weak-sauce versions of liquid salicylic acid have no sensation at all which also seems to correlate to doing nothing. Feel the burn for success! I also like the smell. Kinda like a Sharpie. Astringent, slightly minty. I find the smell refreshing. Others may not. I have used this to eliminate plantar warts in a matter of days. Other warts seem to take longer, but I can erase them in week or two with application every couple days. I have used this to burn off skin tags too. I think that is counterindicated in the instructions, but I don't care. It worked very well for a few small tags. I like this product. I recommend this product.

Works great on Skin Barnacles
I read that whatever you use on warts you can use on skin barnacles, so I used it on different ones and they peeled off. The ones that were close to the skin removed completely, but the bumpier ones lost a few layers of the top and got lighter in color but they are still there. I wanted to add more compound W but it dries fast after you first open it. I need to buy more. Just wanted to share my experience since doctors don’t remove them especially if you have a lot, and the ones that do I think it’s $20 a pop. If you only have one or two, that’s no problem, but if you have more than 10 and have tried other things that have not worked then give this a try. I’ve tried tea tree oil, garlic, apple cider vinegar glycolic acid, and nothing worked as good as this. I also tried the gel type compound W but it didn’t work either, this is the only one that worked for me.

Hard to use but effective
Works well, seems to be getting rid of the warts effectively so far. Kind of hard to use, it’s more of a goopy slime than a liquid and it likes to dry to the brush within seconds

Find something else to buy
A gelatinous mess. Used it for the first time and it was getting jelly pretty quickly. The next day I go to use it and as soon as the applicator leaves the bottle it turns to a get. It’s not even sticking on the the skin tab. What a mess

Can work well combined with sticky cover patches.
Worked for me. My method is first to apply the liquid Salicylic acid, let it air dry a bit and then cover it with a small patch that has a very strong adhesive. I have used a small piece of duct tape or a piece of a cloth style Band Aid (no pad, just the adhesive portion). Leave that on for a day then peel off. The goal is to let the strong adhesive peel up a skin layer that has been "burned" by the acid. Then repeat again. If all goes well 2-3 treatments should totally peel off the wart. For me, the key is the strong peeling action of the sticky patches.

Works very well but dried out
I used the Compound W wart remover on my foot and it worked well overall. It removed the skin without causing any pain, which was a big plus. However, I found it a bit frustrating because, even though I never left it uncovered, it dried out before the wart was completely gone. Despite that, it’s effective and I would still consider using it again.

Really works. I have used it for years. My husband's back was covered with Warts but would do nothing about it until they got so big they were catching on his T shirts. At the start it was taking entire bottle per day. Now only half a bottle and we are getting rid of them fast.

I didn't know what to expect with this product. I had a fairly large wart on my elbow which has almost disappeared after a few weeks , product says may take up to 12 weeks but seems to have worked much faster. Application is similar to a small nail polish type brush. Not messy at all

Very easy to apply and effective in removing the warts in days.

This product actually works on warts. It was recommended by a pharmacist since I had two giant warts and a couple of small one on my finger. I applied it daily for 2 weeks consecutively. The process was not necessarily painful. I didn't feel anything during the process on the small ones but it did really sting badly on the large ones. During your treatment, you need to expect your skin peeling off and make sure the area is clean before applying it. Since you will be using the same applicator (not quite sanitary in my opinion) and reputting in the bottle, you wouldn't want to infest the whole bottle. The MAIN issue that I have with this product is that after around 1.5 week of using it, I had to throw it away and buy another one because it became a jello-like consistency (dried out by the contact of air). For those in the reviews that say this product doesn't work, it means that you need to go see a doctor. This product doesn't necessarily kills the virus. It only treats the wart. If it comes back, it means that your immune system is not able to kill it on your own, and you need a stronger treatment. Do not waste your money to buy another one. Go seek medical attention instead.

Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations. The consistency is very thick and gel-like, which makes it nearly impossible to dispense a "small drop". It is difficult to get anything out of the bottle without significant effort. Overall, I found this purchase disappointing and would not recommend it.
