Had my doubts about using it to remove large snowboots like Mucks when I first saw how small it was, but it works just fine removing large boots as well as smaller ones. I did not notice any rub marks on the heels of removed boots, but if someone was worried about this it would be an easy matter to cut short sections of rubber tubing to fit over the "antennae" of the cricket. Guess you could use heatshrink too, if aesthetics were important: black heatshrink would be virtually unnoticeable. All-in-all, a nice, sturdy, functional and unobtrusive device to solve a perennial and exasperating problem.

I needed a boot jack but not something I want to put away after winter passes. This little guy is great. He looks great sitting on my livingroom floor. I was afraid the "jack" area might be too small, but 8t is perfect. No more struggling to take my boots off. I love it.

I bought this in January of 2022 and I’ve put it through the wringer. One it works great as it should, it’s 100% cast iron so it is heavy and very well made. I’ve taken and forgotten it in all kinds of weather. It’s been in the boat, duck blind, ice fishing in the water, ice, snow, dirt sand you name it. It’s great for all finds of boots. We are a family of six and use it for work boots, cowboy boots, muck boots and even our waiters . It is still going strong and hasn’t broken or cracked, it did get rusted when left in the elements for too long but you can restore it just like the cast iron pans. I just bought another to keep in my truck.

Works perfectly on my work boots. Looks cool. Nice and heavy. Looks new though, doesn't look old fashioned.

When it’s muddy outside I’ll wear rubber wading boots when I go out to feed the animals. This boot Jack allows me to come in and remove the boots while standing on the mat at the back door. Otherwise I’d have to track water, mud, and whatever else into the house at least as far as a chair.

This product is very cute, and I like the way it looks near my front door. I will say that it is a little bit lighter weight than I expected, so you really have to press down while using it. It does work, and serves its purpose.

This should be on Oprah's list! Really helpful for taking boots off. Love it!
