BlackboxMyCar PowerCell 8 Dash Cam Battery Pack

I ordered this so that I will have parking mode. I recieved the order fast and I installed it via the cigarette lighter socket. That cable wasn't charging and immediately drained Cellink battery. I tried it a few times maybe I need to unplug it and plug it in again.. hoping that it will work as I really want to have parking mode... but nah... You guys gave me a deffective cable. I shipped/returned it July 10, 2022. Today it's July 30, 2022 it's almost August and still I haven't gotten my refund. This is frustrating! Why is it that there is no way to contact the seller here on Amazon???

I have Bought this battery about a month ago and i like it because it's charge faster but make sure if you want it to charge faster then you have to hardware it. My 3 Chanel Dash Cam Runs About 17 hour in Parking Monitoring mode. It's worke we'll. Highly Recommend.

I had my front and rear cameras hooked to my car battery. Never had a problem. Went on for days but I always feared what if my car battery died one day? So I invested in external battery specifically to stop wearing tear on my car battery. It is advertised to last up for two days. I just need at minimum 24 hours. This batter did not last me a night. I gave it a week. Trial and error. And no, it does not survive a day, yet alone a night. The only good thing is it does charge up nice and fast when installed to 12v acc

Update: BlackboxMyCar has acknowledged the faulty cable and has shipped me a new cable. Thank you Grayson for your help with this issue. Will update my rating for their quick response. Cigarette Socket Input Cable (12V Power Cable) that it comes with is defective and cheaply made. It Overheats quickly and it will stop charging the PowerCell 8 Battery. The cable stopped working and is completely dead. Should have listened to the other reviews about the faulty 12v power cable it comes with. Very disappointed that BlackboxMyCar will still sell this product with this faulty plug knowing the complaints.

Not worth the $400 dollars for something that's made from cheap materials the charging port came defective I tried contacting the manufacturer and I have to wait 3days for someone to reply just to tell me the warranty didn't cover that specific part which is crazy because is where the battery gets the power. Until other agent told me they could do it but first I have to fill a RMA FORM send the part wait 3 to 4 days more and they are gonna get back to you. For something they can easily sent that part without going to all this trouble I'm a busy person so I dont have time to be dealing with all that for a $10 replacement part. Crazy but they easily take the money 😡😡😡

I am a full time rideshare driver. The powercell has been performing exceptionally and brings peace of mind for my vehicle security.

For the price it's not worth the money. I have a 3 channel dash cam plugged into this battery and from fully charged it only lasts about 10 hours before it dies. Just buy a cheap dash cam battery they all will last about the same.
