Hunter Women's Play Clog

Wow, people have alot of somewhat dramatic and conflicting things to say about this basic rubber clog. Here's my experience, for what it's worth. On the fit: I have fairly ordinary feet - not particularly high or flat arches; not particularly wide or narrow, after I had bunionectomies several years back. I ordered these clogs in a 7, as I normally wear a 7.5, and they fit great. They're comfortable and form fitting, with a little arch shaping. As they are only lightly lined, I had no unrealistic expectations about their fit or feel. On the supposed sloppy fit or high platform: My feet slip around just a little, as I expect with any clog. However overall they are quite stable. I'm using them to work around the garden and farm and they're more than stable enough for that. The platform is not high. I've found that urban style garden clogs that are very flat/low pick up lots of cut grass, weed seeds, gravel, etc. and I find the modest 1/2" platform helps prevent that. The slight rim around the back helps nicely with fit and doesn't get in the way., Are they warm? Of course! They're solid rubber. If you want waterproof clogs (as in "excludes water") you don't want holes, and without holes, wearing these all day will make your feet warm. Are they heavy? They're solid rubber, so they're not super light, however I usually wear work boots or dansko clogs and these are certainly no heavier than my usual shoes. They feel heavy and solid enough to last. I weighed one; they each weigh a pound, which isn't that unusual for any shoe other than a croc or a thin canvas tennis shoe. If I planned to wear heavy socks with them I would go up a half size rather than down, but where I live you need ankle or taller waterproof boots in the winter so I don't need them to fit over socks. My bottom line: so far these are exactly what I wanted, a pair of practical step-in "back-door" clogs to do simple chores in around the farm and garden. And they're not bad looking either :-).

So happy with these clogs. Bought them to work in the kitchen. I’m usually a size 7/7.5 and sized down to a 6. Size 6 is just what I needed. If I wanted to wear thick socks with them I would have to size up to 6.5. Other reviewers said they are heavy and I don’t agree; they are sturdy but not heavy. Also, other reviews said they are wide and I disagree as well. I’m a medium width and its perfect and form fitting which gives them stability and don’t feel like they are going to fall off since they are slip on shoes. Not sure if I just had a big size (didn't feel too big) but I had a problem walking without coming out of the shoe! It is heavy and I had to curl my toes to keep the shoe on. Comfy for standing but really not great for walking :(

I get so many compliments on these! I bought them to where around my yard, but now I wear them everywhere. I find them true to size and comfortable.

Always been wearing size 6 and this is about half to an inch longer. Bought a size 5 instead, fit was better even though it still slips off my feet, maybe better for people with medium width. I am still waiting for my refund for my return— it’s almost a week since dropped off at petco. Purple color is better than the green I have atm.

The look is great. I am a woman. I wear a 9.5-10. All the reviews said to order a half size down so I did. They fit perfectly… and when I say perfectly I mean they’ll be a better when I stretch them out a little bit. I have a wide foot and they fit ‘em. These shoes are HEAVY. They have weight in the heel. They aren’t airy at all. I’ll leave another review once worn for a couple weeks.

Got these for when I walk my dog out in the morning and the grass is wet because I really don’t like getting my sneakers wet or the wet grass touching my feet and I have to say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever spent my money on. They happen to be pretty cute too -hunter boots are well-made and stylish and I really love these . They’re super comfortable and true size 10 stars!!!

Extremely heavy shoe. Runs large. I did not keep these but ordered another waterproof brand that's light and very easy to get on and off.
