This Duru Bulgur Pilaf with Chickpeas was far more delicious than I expected for a heat-and-eat meal. The bulgur has a nice, slightly nutty flavor, and the chickpeas are tender without being mushy. The seasoning is mild but flavorful, making it easy to enjoy on its own or paired with meat, salad, or yogurt. It heats up in just a couple of minutes, and the portion size is perfect for a quick lunch. Natural ingredients and non-GMO are a big plus, too. For something this convenient and tasty, it’s an easy five stars.

I tried this ready to eat meal first time. I opened the pack and finished the whole pack in minutes. Its like freshly homemade. Mildly spicy, full of delicious sauce. Life saver in tight times. It’s full meal for its price, in a good size. Most importantly it’s healthy not junk food.

It’s wonderful and practical if you enjoy Kisir. The flavor tastes homemade and is of high quality.

Duru Extra Coarse Bulgur is a delicious side dish that makes it easy to replace rice with a healthier and heartier option. The bag holds 5.5 pounds of bulgur. When it comes to the directions, it was pretty general and not entirely helpful for someone making bulgur for the first time. The provided instructions simply state "Don't wash and soak. Cook 1 cup Duru Bulgur by adding 2 cups of hot water." As someone new to cooking bulgur, I was expecting at least a listed time as to how long it takes to cook. This was not provided. When I read the description, it sounded like how I cook quinoa - place the ingredient in a bowl, add hot water, cover and let sit. Well, I attempted this and after 15 minutes found that nothing was happening. I ended up placing the bulgur and hot water in a pot and boiling on the stove until all of the water was absorbed. This actually ended up working perfectly. The bulgur had a tender chew and a nutty flavor that reminded me of farro. I mixed the prepared bulgur into a salad. It was delicious! I like that bulgur can be paired with so many dishes. The bulgur is high in fiber and protein. I noticed that when I ate a meal with the bulgur, I did not snack afterwards as I usually do. The manufacturer listed only one recipe on the back of the bag but it is written in Turkish. There are 55 servings in this bag with each serving size amounting to 1/3 cup. The only negative I have for this product is that I wish the bag was resealable. It would have made it easier to store the product if it were in a resealable bag. I ended up having to find a container to store it. It is a Product of Turkey. I really enjoyed this bulgur and plan on buying it again.

First, I like this bulgar, has good flavor. Plastic bag explodes in the box frequently. Also, if you truly want #2 bulgur, don't order this, it is actually #3 (extra course). The picture is correct, the description is wrong!
