Quality matcha
Organic Barista Ceremonial: This is a really great matcha. I was concerned "barista grade" may not be as good as ceremonial grade, but I decided to try it anyway because it's about $11 cheaper (and it's still a ceremonial grade vs culinary). This matcha has a nice bright green color, and it smells very fresh and springy. I used 1/2 a teaspoon, and I would say a little goes a long way in flavor with this one. It's strong, fresh, bright and mildly bitter. It also is very smooth and blends really well - no residue or matcha bits floating in the bottom of the cup. I've followed Dr. Weil for a long time, and as the "Father of Integrative Medicine," I trust him to make a good product. It's lab screened which is important to me as well, and I think it's fairly priced - esp compared to the $60 brand that a lot of influencers have jumped on which has 2 less servings. Definitely recommend!

High-Quality Matcha with Authentic Taste
I've been a matcha enthusiast for quite some time, and Dr. Weil Matcha Kari's Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder has quickly become one of my favorites. This Japanese Barista Grade matcha offers an authentic and enjoyable experience, ideal for both traditional preparation and modern recipes. The first thing that struck me was the vibrant green color of the powder, which is a good indicator of its quality. Upon opening the tin, the fresh, grassy aroma was inviting and promised a delightful matcha experience. When I whisked it into hot water, it produced a beautiful, frothy bowl of tea with a rich, deep flavor that had the perfect balance of umami and slight natural sweetness. One of the standout features of this matcha is its smooth texture. There's no grittiness, and it blends seamlessly into water or milk. This makes it versatile for various uses, whether I'm making a traditional bowl of matcha, a matcha latte, or incorporating it into desserts and smoothies. The fact that it's organic and sourced from Japan reassures me about its authenticity and purity. Knowing that I'm consuming a product that adheres to strict farming and production standards is important for my peace of mind and health. That said, there are a couple of areas where it could improve. The price is on the higher end, which might be a consideration for those new to matcha or on a budget. Additionally, the tin could be larger, as 30 grams can go quickly if you're a regular matcha drinker like me.Overall, Dr. Weil Matcha Kari's Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder delivers a high-quality matcha experience with its vibrant color, smooth texture, and authentic taste. It's a bit of an investment, but for those who appreciate good matcha, it's definitely worth it.

Happy, you get volume for the price
I really like this stuff. It is great on its own with a nice aroma and good texture. There is texture with this product and you'll definitely have green water. When shaken it adds a nice froth on top. I add a little stevia with real cream and that enhances the froth when shaken. I find this much better than the store bought tea bags as you only need a little bit of powder. It is in a powder form green in color and I am good with about a slightly rounded teaspoon for about a 20 fluid oz cup. I think a smaller serving moving forward would be best in a 6 or 8 oz cup and if I want more I can add a bag of my favorite tea bag together with this matcha for volume. I am just used to volume as I'm sure many of us are here in the US. While I may not have this on my shelf all the time I would be buying again. It may seem a little pricey at first glance because who pays 60 dollars for a box of tea but you're getting more servings and better deal than if you were to frequent your local barista as your buying volume in product less the water.

Poor and sad quality for the price
I had high expectations for this product.Starting with the fact that it's supposedly ceremonial grade, not to mention its price...I think in the end, as they say, "what's known is better,"But I really wanted to give this famous brand a chance.I think I got carried away by the reviews, but I realized the reviews are somewhat mixed; they don't show you who actually bought the exact product...Anyway, I didn't particularly like the flavor :(The smell made me give it a try, which maybe wasn't that bad, but oh well...And its color is really disappointing...During this shortage, I've taken a special liking to a culinary-grade matcha, CULINARY! Its color is even better than this one they sold me here, and I paid double for it...I still can't believe it, but oh well.
