Fantastic Book, backed by cutting edge studies
I have been into long term heavy weight lifting for almost 20 years. I am a huge nut about nutrition and am especially interested in it as I have been a year into Veganism. I thought I new quite a bit about nutrition but this book blew me away in scope and knowledge. If you are in any way interested in getting the most out of your training, whether it be endurance or resistance. This is a FANTASTIC book. Takes all the guess work out of sports nutrition and backs everything up with scientific studies. Very cutting edge.

What I need to know
Since I am a competing athlete, every little bit helps. This is a good book to learn how and why Macro nutrients function in our bodies for our best performance and health. Protein, Carbohydrates, and Fats all have their place in our diets, we just need to know which ones, when to consume them, and how much of each.Simple when you know.

Great Book! Very informative
I am using this book for myself and to help my clients and customers. It has provided very solid information on how athletes can fuel their performance. Although you can tell English isn't the authors' first language, they managed to lay it out in clear, concise way.

Some out dated info, alot of subjective biased info. But overall, just your typical information. Load up on carbs all day every day for every event.
