After a decade+ of hard work we had a leak under our washer. Some sluething revealed the drain hose had cracked. It was fairly easy to remove (tilt the washer up and you can get to everything you need from the bottom) and replace. Took all of 5 minutes once the problem identified and got the part in-hand. Make sure you keep the drain shaper (the plastic U piece that curves the hose into the drain) as that does not come with the replacement hose.

Does what it says, doesn't leak. Perfect for LG appliances specifying this part number.

This fit correctly. Watch videos on line for installation. You practically have to disassemble the machine, but it isn't hard. The hardest part was getting the ring back onto the door seal. It is as durable as the original piece. Since I had to replace that, I would say durability is an issue, but that is just the design.
