Unexpected, fun, and a brain tease
Surprisingly fun. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the graphics, but this was just fun to play with my 16year old. Easy to follow instructions of play.

great inter-generational game
This is a game for all ages. We played it with 20-somethings and 60-somethings and the battle lasted until the very end of the board, which makes it a great inter-generational game because every age group brings some skills to this challenging memory game. You get ten (10) seconds to look at something - an ad, a movie poster, a magazine cover, etc. - and then the questions about what you remember come at you.The scoring system is relatively easy and the game easily progresses without a lot of having to refer back to the rules. Some, who play in pairs or groups, try having different members of the team study only certain aspects of the thing to remember. Others try an overall approach, taking in as much as you can about the whole 'picture' in general. There are merits to almost every approach to remembering. The trick is getting the right question to match up with what you may have seen and remember. A toss of the die is what determines the question. There's even an option to make up your own question. But be careful. If you get too detailed and try too hard to stump the opponent, you may find yourself at the receiving end of an even more picky and difficult question in that option when it comes your way.Yes - the game is challenging - but the good part is that it is challenging to everyone.Another option involves using the whole list of questions rather than rolling the die to determine which question is asked. This puts a whole new spin to the game. Two young couples played the game and stayed relatively close in scoring. Two older couples played and did much the same. Then the younger played the older, and the outcome was a back and forth battle to the end.I personally detest games where I find myself getting more and tense as the game progresses. This is NOT such a game. Taking in whatever I can in the ten (10) second "stare" is enough to earn me plenty of points. Oh, and cutting the opponents some slack is a little easier with this game because some answers are a true judgemnt call - and what goes around does come around.

Fun!
I bought this game for my collage age son as a gift. The game I bought was for adults, but I do know that the child version of the game is so much fun for the little ones.

Five stars for fun!
Five stars for fun! This was a Christmas gift that was thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family (two adults, three kids ages 7, 9 and 15). It is certainly not your run-of-the-mill game, which hits you the minute you open the game box for the first time and see the set of image cards. It is so different from other games we have played. Stare at images, ask questions...a completely social and interactive playing environment. The cards are great, and you never know what type you are going to get until you pull your card from the box. Some tell visual stories, some feature wonderful images from yesteryear, and some are just plain interesting to look at. Very amusing and fascinating. We often take quick breaks to stare at the images even after the cards have been played, just to smile a bit longer and catch up on the details we may have missed the first time around. Playing in teams makes the game especially lively since you can debate answers with partners. Just great.

Stare! off into space
I like the concept of this game, but didn't like the execution as well as I thought I would. I found a surfeit of super hero and advertisement pics in the box. The questions were pretty good, not too difficult or easy, but I still found myself losing interest fast while playing.

Love this game
Love this game! I use this to practice visual memory and attention to details with some of my students who have difficulty with those things. So far, it has been very much enjoyed by all of them who have played it - ages 7 - 16. I've also played with my 9 year old nephew and his grandparents (in their 70s), and they all enjoyed it too! It's easy to learn how to play, moved pretty quickly, and you can personalize it based on level by adding or subtracting time to stare at the pictures.
