We had a double closet door that needed dummy handles. These worked great.

I updated the knobs in my house to these Schlage levers and love them. They were very easy to install and switching the handle from up to down was very easy. The dummy knob's screws were opposite of what the previous knobs screws were, so I had to mark the center with a level, mark the screw holes, and drill new ones. Not too difficult, but a little more work than the regular privacy and passage knobs. My mom liked these so much, she had me order them for her house. Easy and relatively cheap upgrade.

I've just replaced every doorknob in my home with these Schlage Accent door levers, dumping 30 year old aged brass round knobs. These were a perfect fit for the old door hardware and the swap was smooth and easy. They look clean and modern, and are very elegant. Levers are easier than knobs for older folks, and as we are all only getting older, this seemed to be a good choice. Very good quality.

I changed over all my brass plated knobs to these levers. Schlage makes a quality product never knew the difference until I moved to the new place. I told the builder that the handles were broken as they had so much play in them and the spring tension was so weak, not realizing that they come that way. Save yourself the trouble and get something that lasts, one cool thing I did as well was to install the front door handle upside down so as to be able to use your elbow/arm etc to depress it if your hands are in use, also helps to clear an inside hanging blind that the blind company (you know the one) failed to consider clearance around it when measuring.

I ordered these because the maker of all the door levers in my house don't' make a dummy. These are the closest looking match if you have Defiant Naples door levers. The handle is slightly thinner when looking from above, and 99% of people won't even notice. Well priced and well made, install was a breeze.

Really helped update the look of the house.Beware that the Accent dummy lever handle are "handed" left and right and cannot be interchanged. (Some of the lever handles are not handed, so can go on either side). Also beware that the handles simply install on the surface of the door, so if your doors have previously had a mortised installation, you may have to repair/modify your door in order to install these securelyOne star deduction only for value--these are pricey for what you get, as there are many other options at less cost (but we already locked into the Accent lineup so...we're stuck)
