fixed my ant problem quickly
I started getting ants in the kitchen a couple weeks ago, swarming over the cat food bowls. I tried duct taping the cracks they appeared to emerge from, but to no avail. Since I sprayed this stuff along the offending crevices, I have seen none (alive)! There are a few dead ones near the entry point, which is reassuring, as they didn't even make it to the bowl. I love that it's pet safe once it dries; obviously this one was non-negotiable since the treated area is where my cat eats/drinks. We have a mosquito and spotted lantern fly problem in our backyard, so I'm glad that this *should* work on those pests too (per the manufacturer. We'll see how it goes - I pretreated the outside, and am optimistic now that I've seen it work inside). While the idea of using a strong chemical pesticide initially made me uncomfortable, it didn't have a nasty chemical odor, was easy to use, and seems to work very well indoors.

Reliable, Odor-Free, and Pet-Safe Bug Spray
This bug spray is a game changer! It’s easy to use, highly effective, and best of all—no lingering odor. I’ve been using it monthly across a few different properties, and the results have been consistently great. It’s also pet-safe, which gives me peace of mind. I originally started using it in our condo buildings because the standard building treatments weren’t doing the job—and this worked so much better. Definitely recommend!

Chemical works great, spray wand is a crap shoot.
The chemical works great at keeping bugs at bay. The included spray wand will sometimes just not work correctly. I've bought several of these and sometimes the wand is fine for the whole bottle, sometimes it is not.

Works well and easy to use
Works on contact. Doesn’t leave a stain or strong smell, and isn’t sticky once dry. The wand makes it so easy to use and worked the whole time on both bottles I bought. Seems like a decent price. One bottle was enough for the outside of my whole house. I would advise a mask or respirator and glasses when spraying any insecticide

This may have solved my ant problem
We enjoy a summer rental and ants seem to be a reoccurring problem each year but after two treatments, I haven’t seen a living ant in two weeks. The lesson is, continue to treat every week for two weeks then monthly and your problems are solved. Battery operated sprayer is a real plus with a directional nozzle. Highly recommendedUpdate 7/20As I was preparing for this week’s treatment, the sprayer stopped working and after some troubleshooting there was still no suction with plenty of battery power.I write to ortho and here’s their response;Be sure that the end of the hose is firmly attached to the cap. Push on it until a distinct “click” is heard. The “click” indicates that the hose is attached correctly.* If have a spout on the container cap that flips up, make sure it is fully flipped up so it is straight up and down and not at an angle.* If have a knob on the cap, make sure it is turned to the "ON" position. When fully in the "ON" position, you should feel the knob click into place and the arrow on the knob will point to the middle of "ON".* Make sure that the wand is open and locked into position.* Check that the nozzle at the end of the wand is turned to an open position. There are either 2 or 3 open positions and 1 or 2 off positions (depending on wand version).* There is a lock on the trigger. Make sure that the trigger lock is not in the locked position.* Occasionally, some crystallization can clog the sprayer. After disconnecting the red plug from the cap soak the spray tip/nozzle in warm soapy water. This may dislodge any crystallized matter. The sprayer tip can be readily pulled off and snapped back on after cleaning* If this is the first time you have used the wand, be sure that the plastic protection strip has been removed from the battery compartment. The batteries will not engage until the plastic strip has been removed.* Batteries have a shelf life that will last through approximately two 1.33 bottles. It is possible that the batteries need to be replaced. The unit holds either 3 or 4 Double-A (AA) batteries (depends on the wand version). Replace the old batteries with fresh ones to see if that fixes the spraying issue.* If the sprayer motor is running and all of the above troubleshooting has been completed, the sprayer may need to be re-primed. To re-prime, place the container above the wand (either holding it above or setting it on something) and spray for 30 seconds in an area where the product can safely be dispensed. All Good advice but none of that helped with my issue.I write to Amazon and they immediately offer a no fuss replacement. This is why I love Amazon- Excellent customer service and they will continue to have my business.

Effective Pest Control at a Great Price
I've been using Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer for several months, and it's been a game-changer. The Comfort Wand makes application effortless, and the formula effectively keeps ants, spiders, and roaches at bay. I appreciate that it dries quickly, has minimal odor, and provides up to 12 months of protection indoors. Plus, the price is reasonable for its coverage and peace of mind. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking reliable pest control without breaking the bank.

The sprayer wand does not work. I am having to dump into a small spray bottle. Last two I purchased had the same issue.

Effective and long lasting
I have used the Ortho Home Defense insect killer for many years. This item is of consistent quality and does a great job of killing unwanted pests around the home - both inside and outside. I am impressed with how it kills spiders and ants, specifically, as those are my two biggest unwanted invaders. The spray dries to a long lasting barrier that works for weeks to control invaders. The applicator method is so easy to use. You can also buy the product in a plain jug and transfer to this applicator jug to save money on refills. I bought this jug as my other one was several years old and in need of replacement.5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEMI write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. I read reviews too, and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that you find this review helpful!
