Pool guy said this drain did not exist…
I needed new drain covers for the pool deck, and my pool remodeling company said that this specific type of connection did not exist for that size of pipe. These were perfect and fit so snuggly that I didn’t feel the need to glue them and which will make future replacement easier, should it ever be needed or if I need to access to clean out the pipe for some reason?

Don’t use in dog run
We have these in our dog kennel. Unfortunately dog urine doesn’t mix well with the metal screws and after about 6 months the screws rusted and the metal top came off and my dogs used it as a new chew toy. Save money if it’s in a dog run just get the cheap plastic ones. I also use them in other areas of the patio and they work well.
