I have come back home several times and noted (neighbors) that the alarm has gone off. Checking the logs there are no entries for that day (or the previous few days). The logs are simply just not being recorded.The system activated one time in the very early morning (about 2:30 am!) making me jump out of bed to sort it out. (No log entries again - so no sensor activated it...!)Other time it deactivated - with any log entries for same (no rhyme - no reason) or notifications.IMHO the subscription and the fees payed are not worth the user manual paper we didnt get with this.It is hard to operate (I am a programmer!), duff instructions on the internet and the subscription fee of £10 a month gets you - nothing. (so fat zero for an additional £120 a year) nice easy money.This is a shabby product - I have tried to cope with it for 4 months now and have no peace of mind with it.The first one I received was damaged (tamper sensor was plain snapped and rolled out of the box when I opened it!I would choose another product - they cant all be this bad!

Great idea built around poor firmware, nothing stays connected, my door sensors have said they are open since the day I bought them and they go offline constantly, they can’t be coupled to the alarm especially if you like your ears and don’t want to be the talk of the neighbourhood with everyone going hot fuzz style on you.

I got this kit to replace my Yale Alarm. Turns out the alarm service will expire next year which isn’t clear enough in the listing.Basically from next year the alarm subscription and hardware will stop working as they do now. Yet they still sell it.Do not buy. You’re wasting money and putting your security at risk.

I've been using Hive products for quite a while and I've been comparatively fortunate that they've worked with minimal issues. Some people have had major problems. My siren stopped working - well, it didn't actually *stop* it just kept going off - continually - and I couldn't fix it, so unplugged it.Shortly after I learnt that Hive are going to stop supporting most of their security products in August 2025. And by support, I mean they will not work - at all.So do some research before buying products what will become redundant.

I worked in security company for more than 2 years, installing alarms, cctv, fire alarms, etc... But still can not work out how to use the keyboard on this one....no manual, it does not beep or light up during the countdown.... It is unclear how to disarm it with a keyboard
