Amazing - This last me almost 7 years
Bought this BBQ grill in 2017 for $200 - I have used this grill at least once a week. This was also a daily use for every meal for about a month as the only way to cook as power outages would take out the kitchen range. About half of it's life, it sat out in the elements without a cover. I'd wipe it down every now and then, clean out once or twice a season, and I feel had I made that a bit more regular a thing, it'd likely still be kicking for a while longer now.The only thing I did not like about this grill, were the uneven heat dist, with a couple dramatically hotter, hot spots. But for the money... workable. I'd drop the steaks there and it'd sear em up good. Felt like after making it almost 7 years, I should head back here, and give it a shout out. Excellent bargain BBQ!

Great Value, Better Food
I love cooking and decided it was time to step things up with a grill. Meat from the grill just tastes so much better than the oven or skillet in most cases, so I was willing to spend a little more to make sure I got a solid product. This was the best value deal I could find and it's really paid off. When I received the box in the mail, all the pieces were in good shape. I've seen some reviews claiming damage, but I didn't have that problem. I'll say this, there are a ton of pieces and it took a while to put together. I'm ok with that. My roommates and I spent about an hour or so following the instructions and we got everything done without much issue. It's a sturdy product with solid construction. I'm not worried about it falling apart.I've had this grill for about a month and it's worked great. There's plenty of space for a ton of protein along with a basket for veggies. It provides great heat and I can get a good sear on the meat. I've seen some negative reviews stating that the grill wouldn't get hot, but those people must have either put it together incorrectly or have a faulty part. While seasoning the grill, I cracked things up to max on the gas and I easily topped 550 F on a normal summer evening. If you have the right parts put together, you should have no problem puting a great sear on your steak.Like I said, I've been using this for a month and all the food has turned out great. Propane hooks up easily and the grill itself has been pretty easy to clean with a good brush. If you're in the market for a solid grill but don't want to break the bank, I would highly recommend this product.

Great grill, fully met my expectations
The Grill showed up in good condition. I spent 15 minutes unpacking & sorting parts. (Note: Kudos to the Packaging Engineer who developed the nested concept of the contents of the box. He/She deserves a bonus!) Zero damage to any of the components, even though the exterior of the box looked somewhat ragged. Assembly directions were primarily graphic w/ minimal printed instructions. The layout of the instructions is fairly intuitive. I've seen complaints about the assembly and the instructions. (I'll refrain from commenting regarding the authors of those complaints). My total assembly time (excluding unpacking) was 55 minutes using only a Phillips screwdriver & working alone (Yes, I timed it).As to temperatures reached; my grill hit 450° (per the lid thermometer) in 11 minutes & maxed out at 475° - 480° in 20 minutes. At that point my infrared thermometer read the grates at 585° to 605° (grates at 500° will sear a steak nicely). I then shut down the two outside burners & the two center burners held the temp. at slightly over 400°. Anyone complaining about low temperatures apparently is doing something wrong (or has tripped the safety built into the modern regulators. After 45 minutes the center portion of the lid handle was still cool to the touch. The only minor negative, from my perspective, is the wheel/axle component. I replaced the thin axle and blow molded wheels with heavier parts.Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this grill. We'll see how it holds up over time. Also, I did go to the Char-Broil web site & engaged in an on-line chat with one of their service reps. (who responded within a couple of minutes & was quite helpful) regarding replacement parts.

The grill is very good.
I bought this grill to replace my old Char-Broil infrared which i absolutely hated because of its grill surface which was impossible to clean. So when buying this new Char-Broil grill i was a bit skeptical but everything turned out to be very good. The grill came in on the exact date that they said it would which was great, and it wasn't that difficult to put together. (although it will take you 2-4 hours depending on your experience with this type of stuff, and having a second person to help during one or two times during the assembly makes things easier). Now once i started grilling i did notice that the grill does take a while to get hot which i was aware of thanks to many other reviews that i read before buying the grill. However this never really hindered my grilling ability and it seemed to get better as the grill broke in (or i might have just gotten used to it and not notice it anymore).Overall the grill has been great and i have been using it all summer for all my pool parties and it does a very good job with keeping up with the amount of grilling I need done. I did take of one star for the fact that it takes a while to heat up and doesn't get as hot as most other grills but for this price point i really cant complain. I would say that after just one summer it has already paid for itself.
