Q: Does the temperature gauge just show temperature or does it stay at temperature or temperature gauge rise as ice melts?

If you fill it as directed, the ice water stays just above freezing for 90 minutes. I recommend this product very highly, especially for those who have had a joint replacement.

Q: Can you attach 2 pads for bilateral knee surgery?

Some form of an adapter would be required - not included with unit.

Q: I'm having both rotator cuff and elbow surgery, same side. can i connect a send pad nd use it on both simultaneously?

No. While it depends on the distance between your shoulder and your elbow, I really don't think that would be effective as you would want the pad to cover the entire shoulder not leaving enough area to cover the elbow.

Q: Are you able to change the settings at all by using the buttons on the digital readout?

You can adjust the flow rate and time settings from the digital menu as well as start/pause the treatment.
