Does everything a gas stove at home would do plus much more
These stoves are perfect for canoe trips. I little big for backpacking. They are amazing running on propane (heavy for backpacking), not so much on isobutane. The push button piezo igniter works very well. For backpacking, I prefer the generic versions of the pocket rockets running on isobutane, but these stoves, running on propane, will boil a pot of pasta in short order. I once used one of these to make Syracuse style salt potatoes for a group. Boiled a 10 quart pot with 6 quarts of saltwater and 6 lbs of potatoes for 40 minutes. These burners can crank up to look like the stoves in Chinese carry out restaurants and sound like a hot air balloon. You can also throttle them down to a very gentle flame.

Nice inexpensive stove!
I looked at the different inexpensive stoves on Amazon and decided on this one. I fired it up on a 1-lb. propane bottle because a lot of the bad reviews seem to be about using with propane. It ignited right away and does not need the valve opened more than a quarter turn to start perking a four-cup coffee pot, and even less than that to keep the pot perking, once it starts perking. It's started perking within 5 minutes. I'll make another pot of coffee when I get a canister of isobutane. I wish this stove had a longer hose but it works fine the way it is. NOTE! This stove is designed to use propane with the propane bottle standing up!! Laying the bottle on it's side will push liquid fuel into the valve, hose and burner, causing tall flames and blowing itself out! I think that might be why some stoves have valve failures too. The propane bottles are under a much higher pressure than isobutane or butane canisters (100+ psi vs 30 psi) which is why propane bottles are built much heavier that the "rocket fuel" canisters. So please be aware of the differences between the fuels. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this stove.

Good stove, but spending a few bucks more can get you better quality
I'm a big fan of this style stove. I am very happy with the Odoland variant of this stove that I have been using for backpacking for a couple of years. I ordered 4 of this Wadeo variant for my scout troop to replace the tiny and lightweight MSR Pocket Rocket style stoves for two main reasons: 1. They have a large, more stable pot holder platform that can accommodate the size pot needed for cooking for 4 or so people and 2. they can be used with Flame-King refillable propane cylinders so we don't need to go to the expense and waste of single-use iso-butane cannisters on every trip. Yes, they weigh more than the pocket rockets and take up more space, but this is a worthwhile tradeoff for the cost and performance, in my opinion. As for this stove itself, it is not as well built as the Odoland variant, which is probably why it is a few bucks cheaper. The metal is a little more flimsy on this stove with less strengthening bends and structures in it. This is a little important as the metal seems prone to bending on these. One of the stoves had a problem right out of the box where the piezo igniter tip was bent far away from the metal of the stove so that it couldn't spark across the gap and light the gas. By comparing to one of the other stoves, I could see how the sheet metal was supposed to be oriented and was able to bend it back so that it worked. That is my only reason for taking one star off. Other than that, these stoves are great- stable, easy to use, light enough and capable of running on propane or isobutane.

A great portable stove fits well in my pocket
I purchased two of these stoves.I have some that I have for quite some time. The stability is great power to use medium size pots, coffee pots or pans. The ignition system is very reliable fires up quickly. It is very light weight. Fits well in my backpack. I do recommend this stove and will purchase it again. Affordable price and available.

VERY DANGEROUS!!!
I bought this to replace a larger stove that attached directly to the top of a propane tank. I used it for years, but it used detents to adjust the flame instead of continuous adjustment. The lowest setting would cause the flame to go out with the slightest puff of air. The next step up was so hot I had to be careful not to burn the food. This appeared to be a perfect replacement BUT... The flame adjustment was VERY inexact. The first time I lit it I had just barely cracked the valve open and when it lit using the built in ignitor it lit with a flame a foot or more in diameter, burning my hand! I managed to get it adjusted (VERY SENSITIVE) but it did adjust down to a small managable flame big enough to cook with without going out, yet small enough not to burn the food. I managed to get a pot of food cooking when I heard a weird sound coming from it. I looked around to see the entire upper section (mixing tube and burner glowing cherry red) and before I could stop it the hose fitting had overheated and started spouting flames that engulfed the entire stove in a ball of flame. Luckily I had decided to try it out before going on a camping trip, and I was not near anything flamable. I first thought it was just a defective unit until I read more of these reviews and found it is common on this unit. (Bad design obviously!) This item is DANGEROUS and should NOT BE USED UNDER ANY CONDITIONS! I wish I could give this ZERO STARS, but they wouldn't let me send this review without giving it at least one star! This product does not deserve any type of credit at all!
