Holds up my bathroom curtain rod well so far. Easy to screw onto walls and sturdy material. Make sure to measure width of the end of the curtain rod you are using as mine fit snugly on both sides. I like that it came with multiple screws!

Quite literally the most useless piece of garbage ever. After finally ordering the right size of these, I was excited to install my new closet rod. Now if you know anything about closet rods, you know they run end to end, meaning the rod has to go top down into the rod brackets (this item), unless of course you have some kind of retractable one, however I do not as I need the durability of wood for the several pounds of clothing that will be hanging on the rod.When I took them out of the package, I was excited to see that the fit my closet rod, and went to remove the screw so I was able to hold the rod in. To my dismay, the screws used for holding the rod on the bracket are entirely PAINTED ON TO THE BRACKET. Now, if you’ve been doing the math, you realize that this would mean the the screw (in its fully closed position, as the product is shipped) is blocking where you would have to install the rod: from the top.I tried to unscrew these by hand, with a drill, with a clamp and a drill, but alas, nothing can be done. At this point, I am now waiting to see if acetone is able to dissolve enough of the paint that I can unscrew these godforsaken screws from these scam brackets.If it works, I will update to confirm, if not, assume that I have died of starvation attempting to unscrew these screws from their brackets.Don’t buy these, don’t even go near them, and if you already have them and are looking in the reviews for some sort of miracle to be able to detach the screw from the bracket, I am so sorry but you will not find it here. You are - however - in good company.Photo: showing where I tried to cut, melt, and yank the screw away from its cursed trap.Update: You can remove the screws by applying acetone to the inside and outside with a q-tip. After it feels sticky (meaning it’s dissolved some of the paint) you can use a knife or box cutter to score along the outside and inside around the screw (be careful!) then you can remove the screw normally with a screwdriver, although it may take some force. Good luck!!
