Way wayy cheaper too buy it here on amazon then any other store, if you played with the old word search for the ds version this will be familiar too you, it has Anagrams, Crosswords, & Word search. Each one has plenty too do, I would recommend this too anybody that is thinking of getting it. Great way too pass the time.

If you like Crosswords, then boy does Nintendo have the game for you. Daily puzzles, mega-puzzles, and many different difficulties/sizes. The handwriting recognition for drawing in characters can be annoying the first time you try it, but it honestly only took me 10 minutes to get used to it and it hasn't bothered me since. This game is really excellent, considering what it is, and I'd recommend it for all ages.

There have been so many puzzle games that really have tested your mind as well as your control from video games on the go. When Nintendo unveiled the 3DS, they have had few games that have been real mental benders other than the classic puzzle arcade games like Tetris Axis, or games that have been downloaded through the Nintendo's 3DS eShop. But, they have decided to bring back an overlooked game from the Nintendo DS that really was challenging, fun and addictive. When Crosswords came out in 2008, the game was filled with really challenging puzzles that have been worth its effort and money. But sadly, the game was heavily overlooked in favor of other puzzle games like Brain Age and Big Brain Academy. Now with Crosswords being released for the Nintendo 3DS, it has a new chance to shine its light on the mind-benders.Crosswords Plus is a straight-forward and simple puzzler that delivers on its promise and its money. The game is definitely a mental treat for the 3DS, as you have over 1,000 different puzzle to play from word search puzzles to king-sized jumbo crossword puzzles, to anagrams that you have to make as many words as possible from a series of letters. The graphics are simple, and the control is very easy with the simple writing of the 3DS, as you try and complete puzzles that really are fun and challenging as well. There are some new mental mind messages as well like a word of the day that really gives a nice mental picture of your diction, and a new word chase that makes you build words in a certain number of letters to form a connected chain. There is also added fun as you can now create your own mini-crossword puzzles and pass it on to others via the streetpass and spotpass features from the 3DS. It adds on to the fun and excitement that keeps your mind going without limits.Overall, I definitely like Crosswords Plus because the fun definitely never ends on this great Nintendo 3DS title. If you definitely love old-fashioned crossword puzzles and giant word search puzzles, than this would be a great buy for you. I definitely recommend this as a great treat for your Nintendo 3DS, and shows that gaming isn't just for kids. It is also for adults too. No one can say that the title of this game is misleading; its got crosswords and a TON of them. I got this for $12 and its definitely worth it. It also has word finds, anagrams and a word of the day, although those have to be unlocked. Easily the most pointless use of 3D, but if you like puzzles, give it a go.

I bought this game specifically for the Anagrams. You can't access the anagrams or the word search right away. You have to win alot of of the cross word games and than the bonus are the anagram and word search. I would never have bought it had I known, it wasn't cheap and it certainly wasn't worth the money I spent on it.

I love a good crossword puzzle, and I've played quite a few good ones on the DS platform. Crosswords PLUS is a decent-looking and mechanically sound game, but suffers from boring puzzles.There are tons of puzzles to choose from in several difficulties. Once you play through a few of them, you will start to notice that every single clue is a generic dictionary word. No names, no cities, no songs, movies, etc. My favorite crossword clues are these types of trivia, so puzzles without them are very dull to me. Hopefully someone will release a "TV Guide Crosswords" game for the 3DS at some point.

This game is good, but not great. The letter recognition is really good, and I had very few problems with the system not recognizing the letter is was putting in. However, the game itself is not incredibly challenging and I wish it had more variety in the clues.
