Compact, easy & sturdy for me.
**Update: Last week (June 2020) while changing out batteries in my surveillance cameras under the facia board the fourth rung from the bottom right side slowly started to fail and I very gingerly got down. I am thankful that it wasn't a fast drop as I would have probably met with our giant sliding doors which were in front of where I was perched. I just purchased a new one and will make sure it is positioned with the frame part of the slider rather that in line with only the glass. It's still a great ladder. Just pay attention to any sliding failure that may occur. Also I am very well below the weight limit but perhaps an big angle caused it to fail, which would be operator error. 🙃**Before I bought this, I bought the Little Giant Ladder for the main purpose of swapping out surveillance cam batteries at multiple locations. I am a mechanic so operating that type of ladder seemed like it would be no big deal but that ladder was a pain in the arse to QUICKLY fold and unfold multiple times. I know that eventually with LOTS of use it would eventually be easier to pull the pins to unlock/ lock the ladder legs into various positions but it was cumbersome. I also loaded it into the back of my truck and there were too many snag points from the pins for it to be loaded in and out quickly or easily. My back was NOT happy with all of the side to side maneuvering up and over the ridges in the truck tailgate & bed, even with the wheels. I returned the Little Giant and I bought this and appreciate that is exactly the type of ladder I needed for the above mentioned reason. For my "stand alone" ladder needs I have a 12' folding aluminum ladder, 6' fiberglass/aluminum ladders and 3' step ladders for getting into higher kitchen cabinets but this telescoping ladder is perfect for quick, easy up/ down LEANING ONLY type use. It's also WAY easier to stow in my truck or my crossover and not to heavy or cumbersome to carry. I am a small person and it is definately sturdy for me even when fully extended but I think a big /tall person might find not feel the same. Hope this helps. If not, sorry for the long winded review. 😄

Great product for the price. Read the instructions and you will not pinch your fingers
Great product. Extends and retracts very easily and seems very sturdy. The person who complained about pinching his fingers and only gave it a 1 star obviously did not read the instructions, or works for one of the other manufacturers. When you retract the ladder if you do it from the top there is no way you can pinch your fingers. If the rung below the one you are retracting has not been retracted, when you retract the rung above it will not go all the way down. It will leave about a 2" gap. This gap will disappear when you retract the next rung down. If you retract the ladder this way the only time you can possibly pinch your fingers is when you retract the last step. The instructions clearly state that you NOT place your fingers on the top of any rung when you are retracting the ladder.

Good telescoping ladder
Good ladder for the price. Folds up incredibly small and easily carried under one arm. It feels stable when you're on it and I easily get on/off my roof. A benefit of this type of ladder I realized is that since it can be any length, it's also useful to use it as a step ladder when you only need to step up a few feet, where a normal ladder would not work.Cons:It will absolutely crush your fingers if you're not careful while retracting itRetracting it in the upright position causes the ladder rungs to slam down on one another, making a lot of noise

Wonderful, wonderful
This has got to be the greatest invention since sliced bread!! I am a petite single senior who must do most things on my own or with an assistant's help. This ladder is a blessing. It is light enough for me to move it wherever I need it, but very sturdy. It easily holds the weight of my cousin who is around 190 lobs with no wobling or issues. I'm thinking of giving to my sons for Christmas, I like it that much!

Very Heave for an aluminum Ladder
Ladder works fine but wobbly when extended from that 6 feet and it is very heave for an aluminum ladder.

I love it! I have all kinds of places that ...
Just got this and put it right to work. I love it ! I have all kinds of places that I need to reach, all with different heights. It's so nice to have one easy carry ladder that fits them all. I grab my basket of drop cloths, paint, brushes, etc and the ladder with the other arm and I'm off. It feels very sturdy even more than my 12 ft. straight one. Both (large) feet fit comfortably on the rungs and no annoying rope in the middle to trip me up. If and when it breaks I'll update this post, but I really feel this is a great tool and it will go the distance.

D A N G E R !!! NOT SAFE AT ALL; BENDS AFTER A FEW USES
DANGER !!!! After a few uses it started to flex, by about the 10th time I used it, it was flexing so bad that I thought it was going to collapse. THERE IS NO WAY THIS LADDER HAS BEEN SAFETY TESTED TO USA STANDARDS. Do NOT BUY; IT IS NOT SAFE!

Stores easily!
This is a great item if you own an RV. Lightweight, easy to use, and makes it easy to sweep off the leaves on the slides. It's compact size also makes it easy to store . We looked at similar items at local stores, and this price beats everyone of them. My husband is reporting that it works great! We just got back from a camping trip and were under some trees. He didn't have to climb on the roof like he did before.
