Good quality parts, fun to use, versatile
I have Circuit Cubes “Robots Rumble” and “Gears Go Garage” kits. Both are great. So far, we’ve just made things described in the well-written instruction books. The parts themselves are high quality. They seem sturdy and fit together (and with classic Lego bricks) well. The Bluetooth connection and software work, although the software could use refinement. It would be especially nice if I didn’t have to pair the BT module with my phone every single time I turn it on.The two kits cost the same but have different capabilities. Gears Go has only 3 motors but one of them is geared for high torque. Robots Rumble has 6 motors. Both have two battery cubes, but in Robots Rumble, both have Bluetooth, while in Gears Go only one has Bluetooth. However, I thought that Gears Go had a more versatile set of gears etc.; it also includes an RGB LED cube. If I had to choose only one, I’m not sure which it would be. I wish Circuit Cubes sold some sets of just gears and the like to add to these. Without that, it can be hard to implement original designs.Regarding making original designs, I would like to make some stationary structures with moving parts. For that, some gear/chain or longer belt assemblies would be helpful. I may try to improvise some of those.

Circuit Cubes: A Fun Concept with Some Room for Improvement
The media could not be loaded. Circuit Cubes offers an innovative take on LEGO by incorporating motors and batteries into the mix. The smaller motors, easier to work with than the standard LEGO Technic versions, are a welcome change, bringing a new level of versatility to LEGO building. The addition of foldable paper vehicles to mould around the LEGO bricks is a creative touch, and the explanation of gear workings in the instruction book adds a great educational element. However, Circuit Cubes has areas for improvement. Being a LEGO knock-off set, it falls short in terms of build stability. The components can become detached quite easily, potentially leading to frustration for younger users.Another hiccup lies with the connectivity. While there are multiple ways to connect the battery to the motor - including wires, magnetic touch, or clips - not all are reliable. The 4x4 lights (yellow) and motors (magenta) with magnetic connections have proven inconsistent, as has the wired connection with the magenta motor. Conversely, the 2x4 LEGO motors with wires have worked well and provided a consistent connection. There's also the issue of the plastic piece designed to fit the magenta motor into the cross-shaped LEGO falling off, despite multiple attempts to secure it with super glue.If the motor connections were more reliable, this product would easily earn top marks. As it stands, if you're eager to try Circuit Cubes, I would suggest going for the version with the 2x4 motors, which primarily use wires for connections. It's less expensive and doesn't present the same connectivity issues. In conclusion, Circuit Cubes is a great concept with a fun, educational angle, but it does need some refining to achieve its full potential and offer a consistently enjoyable experience for LEGO lovers

Really fun set for any child or interlocking brick lover
One of the greatest things about being a parent is you get an excuse to try out some great toys sometimes. This set is one of them! I'm a huge fan of interlocking bricks, and I'm 46 years old. Both of my kids, 12 & 8, have plenty of them. When I came across this STEM set I figured what a great way to use what you already have and integrate electronics into it. So far my 8 year daughter and I have only build a simple tank tread vehicle and honestly she placed a large flat piece from her interlocking sets and built a tray to hold her mini figures and drives around with them. This set has no issues fitting the bricks and figs you have laying around the house. Nothing about this set feels cheap. All pieces have a durable feel and "click" to them. The wires are not thin as a thread, but are nice and thick for what is needed. Overall this makes an awesome holiday, birthday, or in general gift to yourself or anyone. The Bluetooth was easy to setup and use for control as well. The built in battery lasts my daughter about 45 minutes of driving here and there, but overall this is a cool set. I'll build the other vehicles when she gives me a chance, but overall an awesome STEM kit.

Software and App is garbage
This set is way too pricey to have the issues that it does. Hard to put together and the app doesn't even work. My 8 year old and husband both are usually a whiz at this stuff but they spent all afternoon trying to get it paired with the app and it was giving them difficulties.

Just fun block building STEM kit. Love it.
If you've ever wanted to play with interlocking blocks and pop an engine on them, this is the kit for you. The engine connects to an iOS or Android device using bluetooth to control them like an R/C car. The best part is that the kits are compatible with our existing Lego blocks. These are fun and you can make anything you want with them! The issue is that my son has an Amazon Kid's 8" tablet and I couldn't find the app for the Amazon tablet. Hopefully it will come soon. Since it is an extremely popular tablet for kids, I really think this is something they should correct.

Works well, easy to setup, and compatible with regular Legos!
My little daughter is a geek just like me. She likes playing with Legos, and electronic circuit toy kits. The kit is perfect for her next step up from the circuit construction set that she's has outgrown. I was worry about this being to complicated for her. To my relief, this kit is very easy to setup. On top of that, it is compatible with her existing Lego sets. The are several in-depth technical review of this kit already. I am just going to give my five cents on the non-technical aspect of it. The kit appears to be well-made. I daughter can be rough at times, but the robot kit survived so far. The pieces fit together very well, even with the pieces from other sets. The Android app is easy to setup, and easy to use, even for a six-years-old. Above all, it is very fun to play with. I give it 5 stars.

Missing pieces
They were missing the main electronics and then made me pay to ship it back.
