Since this was a bit on the pricey side, I was hesitant to purchase. Our Bengal boys are kind of picky about their scratchers, so I wasn’t sure they would use it much, if at all. I decided to give it a go and glad I did! They love it! They use it regularly, scratching on top and the area underneath. And the little baggy of catnip that came with it....oh my! It was so potent! I took a little pinch and rubbed it on the scratcher when I first introduced it to the cats. It drove them wild! One of our boys was rubbing his face all over the scratcher and was literally drooling all over the place. It was hilarious! I’ve never seen him react that way to catnip. It was a tiny baggy, so good thing it is so potent. Just a pinch goes a long way. The scratcher also looks nice in our living room and is really sturdy. Big enough that our 12 pound bengal can stretch out nicely up top and his 9 pound brother can curl up on the shelf below. Seems like it will last a while, but now I won’t hesitate to purchase a new one once they scratch this one up on both sides. You can rotate it (like an old school mattress) to get double the use out of it.

This was a great purchase for my boys and girls. They love to scratch cardboard. I've had different types of cardboard for them to scratch but this one had become a game changer. Functionality is perfect for playtime and the build quality is great due to my boys (Ragdolls) 16 lbs each. I'm glad I made the upgrade for them.

It's a beautiful scratcher lounge if aesthetics is important to you. Otherwise, function-wise, it is great for my cat. She loves to jump on it and scratch away or just lay there and be lazy cat for awhile, lol.I also love that there's is that big space where another cat can also scratch and just lay there. Great if you have more than one cat in your house.

I didn't realize it until today, but I originally bought one of these scratcher in... 2018. I have 2 cats, and it's mostly one of them who uses it, several times a day. So it is VERY durable! The other thing I like is that once one side is used up, you can flip it and use the other side. It has kept its shape through a couple of moves, but the scratchable area is now pretty beat up, so I bought a new one today. This is an expensive scratcher, but I think worth the price since it lasted 6 years! I will update my review if the quality of the new scratched doesn't match the previous one.

Love this scratcher! We *just* retired it after 4 years and 5 cats using it *constantly*! Super sturdy and definitely sheds less cardboard than other scratchers! I’ll definitely buy another one of these, my cats loved to scratch it and play on it!(I retired it because the edges finally started to delaminate, and it looked ugly. But it was still functional!)

The media could not be loaded. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this cat scratcher—my biggest concern was whether it would be roomy enough for my 12-pound and 14-pound feline overlords. Turns out, it’s basically the penthouse suite of scratchers, so no complaints there.However, in my excitement, I made a rookie mistake: I generously sprinkled catnip all over it, only to realize too late that it went straight through the cracks like sand through a sieve. The result? My dining room table and kitchen floor were now covered in catnip, transforming my home into an accidental feline rave.Once I relocated it to its forever home in the living room (far away from any more potential catnip disasters), Dipper wasted no time making his grand entrance. Fresh from his lunch break, he sauntered over and immediately started investigating—which, in cat terms, means rubbing, scratching, and claiming it as his own.So far, so good! It looks great, the size is perfect, and now it’s just a waiting game to see if the kitties decide this is their new favorite hangout spot or if they ignore it completely in favor of a cardboard box.

Poppy loves it! Sturdy, no fear of it tipping over. Poppy is a large breed Maine Coon and we’ve had no issues. Looks like it will last a long time so I think the price was well worth it. Blends in with the furniture better than I thought it would.
