I bought this to use with my Osmo Action 4 which I bought in August. I saw some videos suggesting it would also work with the Action 3. I thought it was worth the risk of buying & after charging the remote control unit I am pleased to confirm that it does also work with the Action 4. so I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

Have found the remote control element of this set invaluable. Very simple to trigger the recording without needing to touch the Action 2 camera.I’ve found this particularly useful when the camera was mounted on my bike.The remote reliably connects to the Action 2, I’ve never had to wait more than 5 or 6 seconds when initially switching both on.The remote allows you to start and stop (or take a photo) and switch between modes. That’s it, you can’t amend settings or anything - for that you need to use the camera itself. That really simplifies things though so I suspect that’s why it just works every time!The tripod is OK. It is a little plastic, but holds the Action 2 firmly, extends reasonably and can obviously be used as a freestanding selfie stick it tripod.Overall recommend - especially for the remote!

Very useful remote the only problem is it’s a little bit slow to connect to the camera and if you leave it connected to the camera both the camera and the remote controls batteries drain fairly quickly. The remote control is tiny but very easy to use could be easy to lose it as well because it fastens to the extension pole tripod unit with a magnet .

This is a must have if your recording on the move. A mini tripod for remote mounting and cycling/walking toward camera with bluetooth control.

I was sold a "used like new" product and when it arrived there was no packaging and clearly had not been tested as the remote would not charge or switch on. Very expensive considering these facts.
