My BOOM-STICK! I keep it in case I ever encounter a shark, anywhere! ;)
I really don't go fishing but there are sharks EVERYWHERE ( ; ) and this thing sure is sturdy, well-constructed, solid, heavy and rock-hard enough to give them a good smack! It's definitely worth the money and if you need something to give you " confidence " this will do the trick. I carry it in my bag everywhere and I know if " sharks " mess with me I can hold my own. If that is a feeling you want too you should buy one as well!

This worked great during the 2025 Salmon run. Although it is a little long for my taste, the weight was good and the product held up and usually only took one whack.

Just what I needed
Bought it for a friend to use as protection and to keep in her car. Has good weight to it. Looks and feels sturdy.

For kayak
Bought this for my hobie outback. It’s plenty strong to wack some fish! The size is good too. I either have it under my seat, to the side of my seat, or sitting inside my tackle corners.I was looking for something that could have fit inside my plier holes on the outback, but this is too thick to fit there. Just a heads up for those looking to put one there. Consider something a little less thicker, and a few inches shorter.

First thing i see when I open my door. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it is for sure a great club. Strong and fit perfectly in a woman's hand.

If you’re buying this to use for the purpose it is advertised, you are better off smacking the tire with the palm of your hand. If you’re buying it to be used as a defensive weapon… well hopefully your opponent is coming at you with a toothpick.
