gelatin is high in histamine, so why use it?

Hi there, we formulate and build our products with the most sensitive individuals in mind. We are those people and want only the best of the best in our products and bodies. Approximately, 30% or higher of our customers identify as having histamine or mast cell activation issues. The gelatin is a small faction of the product needed for the only true enteric capsule technology in butyrate products today.

Are any of these microencapsulated?

We use a patent pending enteric gel capsule for maximum protection from the stomach acid and bioavailability. Inside our capsule is 99.9% liquid tributyrin. We don't microencapsulate because that is what you do to a powdered product if you are trying to improve deliverability. In order to powder tributyrin you have to dilute the tributyrin with carriers/flow agents so your potency drops significantly -- we didn't want to do.

i think this is a triglyceride- in that case, has this caused anyone chest pain?

Tributyrin is a triglyceride, made up of 3 butyrate molecules attached to a glycerol molecule. As a supplement, it is used to deliver butyrate (a small chain fatty acid) to the small intestine and colon, where it confers health benefits to the gut. I don't think it would add to the triglyceride blood levels that we are usually concerned about for heart health. Those tend to go up because of poor diet (processed foods, high simple carbs and sugar, low fiber), excessive alcohol use, and not enough exercise. Other lifestyle factors that might contribute to high triglyceride levels in your blood include inadequate sleep and too much negative stress. Triglyceride levels can also be high for genetic reasons or in connection with other health problems like diabetes, thyroid disease, liver disease, or kidney disease.

Where is this manufactured?

As of December 2021 it’s manufactured at a top of the line factory in Spain. We’ve finally found a U.S. based manufacturer that can meet our extremely high specifications so hopefully by the end of the 2022 it will be made in the States.

Vast improvement in gut health

This has really.helped my gut health. For years, have had digestive issues that seemed to vastly improve after about a month of taking this. Tried so many things that did not seem to work, this did! I continue to take and will do so for gut and overall health and well being.

Excellent and Effective Product!

I’ve been having gut/digestive issues for over a year and I’ve tried so many products. Without a doubt, this product has contributed the most to restoring my gut. I am not a paid shill and I know it’s expensive, but this is my go-to now and I know it’s effective. Everyone may have different root causes for gut issues, but this one definitely helped my problem tremendously!

Butyrate's really good for you, and this is the kind I get. Wish it were less pricey, though.

NICE SUPPLEMENT TO TAKE

As I find butyrate is more important to our gut than we realized I'm glad I'm taking this. It's hard to know how well it works but I know it's not hurting me! I'll continue taking it but probably reduce what I'm taking as the months go on.

Excellent for those with IBD, IBD, food allergies, and sensitivities!

I take this product every day. I have IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and more food allergies and sensitivities than anyone I have ever met in my entire life. Not only am I able to take this product because of the lack of fillers and other unnecessary ingredients, but it actually helps improve my symptoms and gives me a better quality of life. I do find it a bit pricey, to be honest, but the results keep me coming back for more!

I’ve learned one thing - when it stinks (any suplement containing fat) it’s rancid. This one stinks. Looking for a different one.
