e.l.f. Hydrating Core Lip Shine, Conditioning & Nourishing Lip Balm, Sheer Color Tinted Chapstick, Blissful, 0.09 Oz

e. l. f. is my go to brand for cosmetics since they are cruelty free. For the longest time I had a tinted lip balm that I carried in my purse just for a hint of color. They do not make it anymore but I purchased this product in shade Happy. It goes great with my pale skin tone and I am 100% satisfied yet again. They never disappoint!

I love these. I've got 3 colors and have purchased 2 of each of the colors. One for my dressing table and one for my purse. The colors are initially sheer but are buildable.

Not much of a color payoff, but it's hydrating - I wanted to try it as it's being touted as a good dupe for a high end 'honey' lip product

if you love black honey, this is your dupe. I like the little heart in the center with a rich moisturizing balm.

Purchased shade called Ecstatic which is supposed to be good dupe for Clinique Black Honey, and it is, so far as the color. I used to wear Black Honey years ago and was curious to see if I would like it now, so this was a less expensive test run. It's not identical color-wise, but very close. What made this a dud, and unusable in my opinion is the smell. It smells rancid. Not just that "this lipstick is past it's prime" smell, but rancid. I didn't think this product has been out long enough to age out, so I don't know...

I got the shade ecstatic. It's sheer but perfect for a little pop of color. It really has been making my lips soft. It feels buttery smooth when wearing and doesnt get on my teeth, as it's not thick like lipstick. In this picture I applied one layer. If I want it darker, I'll do 3 more layers. It smells so good too! I think I will order another shade.

I love it! I’m not big into heavy lipstick but this gives a hint of color, moisture, and just enough shine. It has a little more pigmented heart in the middle of it which is what I think gives you the color. I keep this in my purse and wear it all the time!

My personal preference is unscented and unflavored lip products. This balm is nice, has a good, smooth texture and a pretty, subtle color. But I really don't like the smell.
