Fantastic Automatic Hand-Soap Dispenser
DISLIKES: Operator's manual, the print is a very light gray text on a white background, I could not read it without the aid of an extremely bright LED flashlight at a 45-degree angle and right above the text. If this had been a bold, black text, I would have been able to read it with a room lamp. The text is way too light for a person that has vision issues or may be considered legally-blind, which I am legally-blind, but have enough vision if text is dark against a light background or light against a dark background I have no issue reading it.There is no reference to what the 5 soap-dispensing levels are on how much soap the unit actually dispenses when the soap level is set at each level. There are 5 levels of soap dispensing, but nothing noted on what each level dispense anywhere in the Owner's manual, something that would be invaluable in knowing. The top where you fill/refill the soap container is just pressed down and lifted off, being a soap dispenser, I feel this should have had threads and screwed off and on to the soap fill/refill area. If someone doesn't know this, and they happen to pick it up by the top of the unit to move it for some reason, this could cause the unit to be lifted and fall, damaging the unit and making one huge mess with soap leaking out and all over the area, countertop, floors, down cabinets, etc. Now, To me, this is a major flaw in its design. If the soap refill cap was screwed on, the unit would only be damaged if someone lifted it and dropped it, but just having it press in, it comes off very easily, so damage is more prone to happen, and loss of soap, creating a mess would be due to this flaw in its design makeup.LIKES:The silver finish of the dispenser, although the top section, soap dispenser area and sensor are in the black part, I wish the entire unit was silver, but that's not a big deal. Now for those that do not know how to change the soap dispenser levels, I am going to explain how this is done, it's in the Owner's manual, see why this is either missed or not read by my comments about the Owner's manual in my DISLIKES area above. How to set each Level in this soap dispenser:Level 1 - This is the DEFAULT when the unit is first turned on.Level 2: Press the power button and release it, the indicator {White LED on the dispenser spout} will flash 2 times, showing you are now in Level 2.Level 3 - Press the power button again and release,, if you are in level 2, you should see 3 flashes of the White LED indicator on the dispenser spout, showing you the dispenser is now in Level 3.Level 4 - If in Level 3, pressing the power button and releasing will give you 4 flashes of the indicator, you are now in Level 4Level 5 - If you are in Level 4, pressing the power button and release will give you 5 flashes of the indicator, you are now in Level 5.To get back to Level 1, only from Level 5, just press and release the power button, you will get 1 flash from the indicator, you are now back to Level 1. If you are in any other levels, Level 2, 3 or 4, you will need to press the power button and go through the steps above to get back to level 1.Soap Output: Level 1 is the least amount of soap, it seems to double the soap output each time as you progress up the Levels, the higher the number, the more soap it will dispense. Level 5 seems to be more for adding soap to your sink for washing dishes, as that Level dispenses the soap for a longer duration to put enough soap in the basin for doing this chore, but I'd think Level 3 or 4 would suffice for dishwashing dispensary. At level 3 I had more soap than I needed for handwashing, but appears to be enough to add to your sink for washing dishes, if using it in your kitchen area. Just remember to set it back to level 1 for handwashing at the kitchen sink or using for just a few dishes. Otherwise, you'll be wasting a lot of your soap! The sensor is very good, it has always picked up my hand as I place it under the spout to get soap for washing my hands, and it never misses any motion that occurs to dispense soap. Unlike others I've used, many have been hit-and-miss, that is, you put your hand under the dispenser, but nothing happens, and you have to do it several times before it decides to give you any soap, not this one, it is very reliable.Overall, it is a nice soap dispenser and one I can recommend, my only 2 biggest complaints on it are the Owner's manual being very hard to read, and the cap doesn't screw on, just presses down onto the refill area where you add your favorite hand-soap. Despite that, it' worth owning and, again, I'd recommend it.NOTE: The only other complaint I have was I had selected a specific delivery window {Same-Day Delivery} and it was delivered PAST the time I had requested. If the window selected for a specific time slot for a delivery can't be met WITHIN the time selected, then, in my opinion, Amazon should offer a discount off your next order by giving you a discount code. And they need to correct their algorithm that selects the time chosen, as when I placed this order, as soon as I checked out, even though it was SAME-DAY Delivery, as soon as the payment was completed, I got a "Delivery Tomorrow by 10PM", what? I selected a specific time to have items delivered on the SAME-DAY, NOT tomorrow{next day}, it eventually changed to SAME-DAY Delivery, but this should have never occurred at all.

Customer service is not reachable
Lasted less than a year and now it will not dispense soap. Turns on and off and can change modes but will not work. Tried to contact product support and manufacturer but no luck.

Sometimes leaks soap around the bottom edge of the canister
Worked great for a couple of years until it fell into the sink into a pan full of water. Wasn't able to get the soap dispenser taken out of the water quick enough before it had done its damage from being submerged overnight in water. It dried out for a couple days and was plugged back in for charging, but didn't work properly again. Not the dispenser's fault, totally human error. The only minor issue was that sometimes soap would leak out the bottom seal on the canister and dry up making a soap ring around the bottom. Soap never leaked out over the counter and spilled anywhere, just would slowly ooze out the bottom and dry around the bottom ring.

UPDATED REVIEW - Just what I needed! Love it!
Updated ro add: It has been almost 2 years! I've only had to recharge it once! I have only one complaint, the bottom seal on both that I ordered are leaking and chipping off. I still highly recommend but I absolutely hate that and I'll have to replace them. The one in my bathroom leaves a ring of leaked soap on the sink where it sits. With that solid complaint stated, I still LOVE these soap dispensers (I ordered 2, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom- both have the corrosion issue at the bottom). I struggled with whether to remove a star or not. I chose to leave the 5 stars.I love this soap dispenser. I returned the first one that I bought as it sucked with detecting my hands. THIS dispenser has NO problem detecting my hands, holds a very nice amount of soap, is easy to fill and to see what you are pouring and allows you to adjust the soap output. I bought one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen and I am very, very happy with my purchase. I haven't had to charge them YET and we have been using them daily since a little before Thanksgiving and we are now into the new year. I hosted for the holidays so it has had plenty of use. I appreciate how long this charge lasts. If you want a good soap dispenser look no further.

Worthy Rival To SimpleH****
I love electric soap dispensers! They really add a touch of elegance and seamlessness to the hand washing process. I have tried it's more expensive sibling SimpleH**** brand's version, and it seems to be working just as well if not better - with a few notes of differentiation.1. This has a non proprietary USB C port for charging which is great and, I actually prefer this USB C port over the other SimpleH**** brand's proprietary magnetic charging cord / port that would be harder to replace if lost.2. This has black plastic pieces on the top and spout, where the other SimpleH**** brand uses metal throughout the exterior - this is the only detail that to me looks less premium, however this does not effect functionality as is not an issue to me. Purely an aesthetic difference.3. It dispenses a generous amount of soap which is the perfect amount for my hand washing needs and probably right amount for most people, however some may find the amount to be too much if really trying to conserve hand soap. I have not figured out how to adjust the amount of soap that comes out, but I think there might be a way to do that.Side note: My cat got onto the kitchen counter and ended up dispensing soap from this dispenser onto her back! She was not happy to have me wash it off of her at the sink - so keep that in mind if you have a curious cat. I decided to now store / move the dispenser into the cabinet above the sink. It is still convenient and I enjoy using it.I will still keep using the SimpleH**** chrome finish dispenser in my bathroom given to me by a relative because it matches my bathroom sink faucet, but will keep this one in my kitchen cabinet and would encourage anyone interested in electric dispensers to try this dupe if they don't mind the black accents. You can never have too many electric dispensers around the house. Yay for soap dispensers!
