Amazon Brand – Pinzon 400-Thread-Count Hemstitch Egyptian Cotton Pillowcases - Standard, Plum (Set of 2)

I bought these pillow cases as an extra set for my sheets that match. I sleep with 4 pillows and the sheet set only comes with 2. I was glad I was able to get the exact matching ones, because usually, you can't find them and I end up having to just buy a set that are as close as possible. These pillow cases are super soft and get softer with each wash. I have the plum, which is actually a really nice color. Not real dark, but not a light lavender. They match perfect with my comforter set. I would definitely buy again and I might get another set for spares for the great price I paid.

I purchased this 2 pillowcase set to go along with the Pinzon 400TC Queen Size Sheet set in Plum.The color is darker than it appears in the pictures, but I expected that since it happens a lot with fabrics in general. In the picture it appears as a darker lilac color (to me, at least) but really it is more like aubergine.These pillowcases are generously sized - I just have standard pillows but could get larger if I wanted; there is plenty of room.My main gripes with the pillow cases and sheets are that they don't feel very "soft", and wrinkle up easily when washed and dried.I am not the type to iron things other than clothes, so I suppose if you ARE the type to iron sheets this issue won't bother you.All in all, I wish I went with a less expensive set because for the money spent, I could have gotten 2 sheet sets with a lower thread count and gotten the same results.The Martha Stewart sheet set I bought almost 3 years ago at K-Mart are nicer than these.

Feels nice and smooth against your cheeks. I sleep on my side (mostly) and always prefer good quality fabric that is kind to my cheeks. This one was great. Although the color was slightly dull compared to the picture on Amazon, it is still great. It goes well with the Purple/ Lavender bed set. Overall a fantastic purchase.

Arrived with some stiches messed up (as if the needle missed going trough the fabric a few times) luckily Amazon gave me a refund and did not ask me to return the pillow cases. I appreciate that, which is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 2 or 1, because the case is VERY scratchy and it's only after washing and drying the cases 5-6 times that I am even able to fall asleep on them.

These sheets are 400 thread count, not the best,not the worst quality. They are a little stiff and scratchy, not unbearable, but not as comfortable as I am used to. In fairness, I usually pay more for sheets, so I feel that for the price they aren't bad. I am hoping that with more washings they will soften. I ordered the smokey blue and am pleased with the color. The fitted bottom sheet is generous and has lots of stretchy elastic, so fits easily on my thick mattress and feather bed. The pillow cases are snug on my standard pillows, but they work

They are a pretty color, good quality, and have a slight sheen to them. If you buy them, just realize that they need to be washed at least three times before you can use them. They smell like petroleum products of some sort, but it goes away after all the washing. I would recommend this product.

I'm a sheet snob. These were a great price, and I love my Pinzon flannel sheets, so was really looking forward to these, but I'm underwhelmed. I expect high TC sateen to be silkier and smoother to the touch than these are. These are stiffer and rougher than I want. I've run it through the wash a couple of time and they are okay, but I don't love them.I will probably try another set in white, because in my past experience some dyes result in a stiffer material.

Where I'm buying online I bought one pair to see if we like it and if so order more .Exactly the color and material we were looking for and delivery met our expectations so I just placed another order .
