I am very pleased with my sand stamps, they arrived very quickly, in a lovely box to look at it, and I wasn't disappointed when I opened the box. Lovely! These are for myself, but they would make a beautiful, thoughtful gift for a friend or relative. Highly recommended!

These pretty little wooden stamps are designed for creating calming prints in zen garden sand - a mindful activity. This woodland set comprises of leaves, flowers and wildlife that offer special meaning within Japanes zen culture, and this is explained in the paper guide inside this pack. Each stamp is made from wood and are 5 mm thick - they have solid little handles for a firm grip. This is a really beautiful set, which I ordered for use in my Nursery Playroom with sand and playdough. The nature stamps will offer the children a wonderful experience, and most childcare settings are currently making a concerted effort to move away from plastic toys and tools and embrace more traditional materials such as wood. These will be just perfect - the round handles will be ideal for the children to hold and will encourage fine motor skills, while the naturer stamps will encourage self expression and a sense of the wonder of nature. This is a really lovely set and I will be sure to respect the culture and meaning of these stamps while using them.

These arrive in a colour printed box measuring approx 16.5cm x 16cm x 4cm.I chose the Forest option.The box is lovely, it looks gift ready & would be very easy to wrap.Inside there are 8 sand stamps:Pteridophyta leaves.Hummingbird.Jasmine flower.Butterfly.Mushroom.Deer.Ladybird.Tree.There is also a printed page which explains the symbolism of each stamp & what that image represents.The stamps are very nice but every single one has 2 marks on them that look like small pins were used to attach the stamp plates to the small wooden handles then punched in below the surface which just makes them look cheap.On regular sand, it doesn't really make a difference because it is simply not that good at reproducing a surface pressed into it in great detail for the most part; but if you wanted to use these on a surface that took better impressions it would be an irritant.If only using for sand these would be lovely although I do feel that the two marks on every single stamp make them look worse than they need to.Creating a zen garden is all about aesthetics after all so for something associated with creation to be flawed just doesn't sit right with me.The stamps are cushioned in a foam cut out inside the box.I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I think most people would get a lot of pleasure from adorning their mini zen gardens with these stamps.

This is a lovely set of stamps, which has been marketed towards use for a zen garden sand art project, however, these wooden stamps can be quite versatile and can have a range of uses, such as for use with inks and paints to use for stamping cards and other art projects. So they do have other applications for use.They come nicely packaged, so can be given as a gift for anyone who likes to craft. Each stamp is well made and has a little handle so that you can easily use the stamp and you get 8 stamps in the set, which includes leaves, a hummingbird, a jasmine flower, a butterfly, a mushroom, a deer, a ladybird and a tree.

These sand stamps are disappointing. Although the shapes come up nice, it has many safety hazards and some parts were broken. One of them had a metal nail on the side and some had splinters poking out.

This is a lovely set of wooden stampers designed to be used in mindfulness zen sand trays. We don’t have a zen sand tray although that sounds amazing but I used these with my little girl in her kinetic sand and they work really well.With the kinetic sand they make a very clear imprint you can see the pattern and design perfectly.The wooden stampers are well made and easy to hold and handle with a wooden round handle or knob on the back.They come nicely presented in a gift box tooLovely product

We got this set to use with our home educated kids. The set is lovely and provides some cute little animals and plants to use as sand stamps.I’m not sure it’s quite worth the current price tag as it’s just thin pieces of wood as you can see.Let me know if this review was helpful.

Nice set of wooden stamps, designed to aid mindfulness and allow you to enjoy your mini zen garden (if you have one!). I simply used these on my little one's sandbox and I have to admit, it was fun to see the shapes emerge. I also figured they would be good for tracing around or even using with paint in the future with my little one.They are designed nicely with a solid handle and the patter attached. They are let down by the two small holes on each stamp - obviously where the stamp has been attached to the handle - but it doesn't show up in the sand so that's not a big issue. In the box you get - 1 x Tree, 1 x Leaf, 1 x Mushroom, 1 x Ladybug, 1 x Butterfly, 1 x Hummingbird ,1 x Deer, and 1 x Jasmine and they are well presented and would make a nice gift for someone.At £4 at time of writing, these are extremely well priced for the small bit of peace they bring!
