Light Grey Turkish pestemal with white stripes. Pestemal primarily used as hammam towel in Anatolia. Sultans of the Ottoman dynasty were also wearing pestemal in the hammam. Pestemal is a handicraft. Throughout history this Turkish towel was produced by weaving on hand looms by women in Turkey's eastern Black Sea and Aegean regions. Our products are not factory-made. All the pestemals are produced by traditional methods in a respectful manner to its origin, woven on hand looms and vegetable dye is used. Very authentic Turkish Bath towels. Just like the ones in Turkish bath houses.
I love these towels. They are just like the ones I used in Turkish bath houses in Europe. Very thin, but very absorbent, and very easy to clean.The only negative with these towels is that the knots on the end (some of them) come untied in the wash and you have to tie them in a knot again.But, great buy, and very authentic to the original Turkish bath towels found in Europe.

I love these towels. Very soft, very absorbent. They're much larger than ordinary bath towels, and they look and feel great.
