EGO Power Plus Build Your Own Multi-Head Tool System Kit, Battery Powered

I purchased the weed eater and the hedge trimmer. I haven't used the hedge trimmer yet, but I am sure it will be great like all other EGO products. I've been using Ryobi 40 volt outdoor equipment for over 5 years. They work good, but EGO works great. I started with the EGO 18" chainsaw, then the leaf blower and now this.The product is pricey, but the quality is great. The weed eater head profile is flatter than Ryobi's and therefore you get a closer to the ground cut when moving the head parallel to the ground. Like the other EGO products I have bought, they are all more powerful thus reducing the overall time required to finish a task.If you can afford EGO, then I highly recommend them.

I replaced a gas powered blower and a gas powered weed trimmer with these. I have enjoyed not having to replace a carburetor, or having to play with the choke on my gas stuff.The Ego items I added have been a real joy…. Pick it up, pull the trigger and go. Quieter (in general), plenty of battery life to get my jobs done, and pretty much maintenance free. After a full season of work in my yard, I’ll say that my EGO mower, trimmer, and blower have been great.Buy with confidence!

The products came and easy to assemble. I use them 3-5 days a week. They work great. It is great not having the noise and having to mix gas and oil.

This is a reliable product. Battery charges fast and works like a champ.

This works very well and we find it better than gas. The only thing really bad about it is the cost. We have several of these type products so have a few batteries that work with it. Wish everyone used electric lawn equipment. What a much quieter neighborhood it would be.

Got the cultivator, edger, and brush cutter attachments for this multi-head system. Well worth it to make landscaping work easier.

Overall, I like the EGO Power tools. However, their warranty sucks, and frankly so does their customer support.I had some large brushes that I needed to tackle. I used the pole saw attachment, but apparently, it hit a piece of metal. Both the multi-tool head and the battery went dead. After several calls with support and a support supervisor, I was informed that the company determined the damage was due to accidental damage and is therefore not covered by warranty. Essentially rendering the multi-tool head useless as well as the six different attachments I bought for it.

I've been using B&D for the last 10 years, batteries finally failed and I started looking for a replacement. This is a serious upgrade in durability, construction, function, weight, power, and battery life. Truly a direct replacement for gas, without the hassle.
